- We've arrived at our last park in Belgium, Bobbejaanland! This park is home to a variety of strange and unique attractions, including a roller coaster where you vote to go forwards or backwards, an indoor log flume, and a roller coaster featuring the worlds longest train. This was stop #1 for the day before we ventured off to Efteling!

I'm betting they named it "Indiana River" because they wanted to associate it with the "Indiana Jones" franchise, without getting in trouble with Disney or Paramount. That would explain the Indian theming, anyway.

It's actually completely rebranded now to Terra Magma, which fits the theming a bit better, since the old version of it was a bit controversial.

Representing Italy I agree with the statement 12:45 made in the video. We strongly condem the usage of ranch „sauce“ on any type of pizza. Italian themeparks foresee capital punishment for such an abomity.

This park was the biggest surprise on our trip, just an all around fun park, really nice too, some cool rides, the indoor log flume is really awesome
I am desperately trying to convert my friends into enthusiasts to take trips for coasters. So far it’s been a lot of sneaky weekend trips where there just *happens* to be a park lol

Glad to hear you guys loved revolution! The indoor log flume had its last rides as 'Indiana River' on november 6th this year, it will be getting a revamp next year into a different theme, so lucky you still had a chance on riding it! :)

I am so so angry they're changing it. It was designed by the man, the legend Bobbejaan Schoepen himself. Removing this removes some of the essence of the park. Atleast for me.

There is also a queue for only going forward on Fury tho so most people who want to vote will vote backwards.
Revolution has a dedicated fanclub btw, the only still standing Vekoma Illusion, second one was at Opryland and had an even longer train.
Bobbejaanland struggles with getting funding from the parent company for a large standout coaster, you won't see something bigger than fury coming in anytime soon besides rethemes of existing rides like Indiana River which is currently being done.
And you're gonna wish you had spent more time at the efteling, it's often very busy and it has more to offer than coasters, it's more known for it's dark rides, it's definitely not a park you can do in half a day.
it's not only parque reunidos fault (they are the problem of 90% of the parks problems) but also the neighbours are a problem.
The fact that the park is built on swamp and you also have to put a lot of money into the ground (foundations) does not help.
My friend is European and while riding T3, a part of his anatomy that not many American guys have was pinched in the restraint for the entire ride. lol! He REALLY hated that ride...lol!

Bobbejaanland is basically Dollywood as it was founded by a musician from Belgium. (Though I don't think you notice anything from that nowadays and only the name is left) Btw I found Typhoon to be rattly, as well. But in my last visit I was in the back row and it was a lot smoother. 👍

Let's just set the record straight. American's put ranch dressing on pizza because most American pizzas are fast food and not that great. Italy they be putting love into those pizzas and you don't need to cover up that delicious flavor with ranch. You get a nice authentic margarita and ain't nobody putting ranch on it. Most people in Italy would be shot if they tried to open up a Little Caesars.

I have been like 50 times to bobjaanland i live in belgium and its half a hour away so my familie goes there a lot and its my favorate theme park in the world

The first vertical loop on Typhoon is a bit more circular than most modern VLs, which is why it pulls more Gs. I almost greyed out just watching it. 😵😬
Also, it's so wholesome when Sarah tells a joke that steps over so slightly on the Mormon sensibilities. Love it!

Also notice from the lake that the Ferris wheel kinda looks like the one on disneys California adventure I think… it has some kind of logo on the back that looks like Mickey 🤔
Bobbejaanland is like your stereotypical Roller Coaster Tycoon park. That's how I describe it. It's a fun park if you know what to expect and you adjust your expectations on it.
"deduct a nut" should be Sarah's catchphrase anytime a ride is uncomfortable.

Aaaaaaah the momeries I got of this place. Got my first ever credit here at Dreamcatcher, back when it still had the original airplane cars.
Also Typhoon's loop is an homage to the its Schwarzkopf predecessor. It's in the exact same spot, and shaped like the original too. Maybe that explains it's intensity?
Ah yes, Bobby-John-Land, my favorite quirky park.
If Typhoon is actually that intense, it may be one of my favorite Gerstlauers.

I did the log flume during the covid pandemic, so we had to disinfect our hands and wear a facemask. Wasn't a great mix as on the last drop, my hands slipped off the bars because the disinfect stuff mixed with water and got really slippery. Result: I hit my throat on the front of the boat and had a super black bruise the length of my thigh for about a week... Also, that was the first time I came back to the park after I quit primary school about 15 years ago. I am never going back ever again lmao (I live 20 minutes off Efteling so I will just keep going there instead :D)

I'm Deaf and absolutely enjoy watching your other videos that at least have automated captions. the automated captions are pretty okay with errors here and there, though I hope one day you will add more accurate captions, or at least work on cleaning up the automated captions. :)

They have rebuild the theming of Indiana river, its now called Terra Magma which is wayyy better!

So, Revolution is basically the same as the old Mayan Mindbender at Astroworld, with different theming.
Not exactly, Revolution is the only one left of Its kind being the last vekoma illusion coaster, there was another one called chaos at Opryland usa but that ride closed in 1997, but the train from Mayan mindbender is the same train model ‘mk-700’ like hornet does and the smurfer :)

I love fury, it's a great ride and I agree definelty more fun forward. Bobbejaanland is a nice park actually I liked it quite alot. Especially given the fact its basically a kids park.
