Hey man, love your stuff, quick question How come at 50+, you can't take Bladedancer's Ring with perfect Twisting Blades roll (which I just got), and put a spicy aspect on your main weapon? It seems good to put that and the vuln aspect on rings, and just ditch the Lillith ring? What do you think? Or are there so few viable aspects we don't already have and you take Lillith for the stats + legendary?
This is by far the clearest and most concise description of everything you need to make this incredible rouge I've seen on RUclips thus far and I've looked at a ton thank you very kindly for this effort.
I have this build minus the ring (still have to complete campaign) and it absolutely shreds. I like the focus you need to have with it as it keeps me more engaged with the game. Awesome build and tons of fun to use!
Aspect of Stolen Vigor is absolutely cracked rn, I'd also recommend it if you can find it. It heals by a significant amount of life per second as long as you have 3 Stacks of Momentum; momentum being very easy to keep proc'd with Shadow Step 👌
I’ll be honest this game is sooooo f***in good that I didn’t even think twice about getting the deluxe version I couldn’t wait until the 6th. It’s worth every gd penny imho and I never ever buy deluxe version of any game or preorder anything 😂
@@JoeyBK_86 Yeah I'm sure it's worth it, only reason why i haven't paid for the early access is because I was busy this weekend otherwise I'd be already playing it.
Thank you so so much...i was struggling with my rogue build and i stumbled upon ur video...lucky i had the exact three aspects all for imbuements that's needed...my goodness this build is beastly i can stand inside a mob and not worry about dying its great...now just need to practice gameplay and timing...THANK YOU!!
shadowblade rogue is the most fun build imo. I've tried other twisted blade builds were they use poison traps but they're not as fast as this build. I just love zipping through mobs and seeing a trail of explosions left behind
Ryuga is a sick rogue name by the way… About to hit 50 with a variation of this build. I had shadow step, and it worked pretty decent. I will most likely go back to it after 50 for procs!!! However, Dark Shroud has kept me alive a few good times in the interim. I will most certainly sub!! Been watching your build vids just because you don’t overly use “OP” or “god-tier” every ten seconds. Keep up the good work Fex.
I leveled myself into this build without a guide and it is strong! I use poison trap with shadow embument and some good aspects from drops and fly through content. One that causes explosions when shadow damage is done to a poisoned enemy. Never get old seeing groups of enemies pop!
Aye man thanks to you understanding the necessary builds for rogue is important! cuz like demon hunter in D3 rogue dies fast.... even though they hit the quickest!
everything feels genius and I appreicate your video but I don't understand your choice of key passive since there is literally not a single cutthroat ability on the action bar? Or have I missed something. Thanks in advance.
I absolutely love this f***in class!!! Best of both worlds ie assassin and demon hunter! Range and up close builds gives so many different build options! I personally went poison build Traps and poison Imbuements melts enemies. Hopefully he does that type of rouge build soon because its really f***in good imho.
Thanks alot for this guide, i stuggled at lvl 50 to get to nightmare, but when trying this build i had no problem:D question thoe? malignat hearts is it used for this build or shal i save every one i got?
I started my Rogue with the Shadow Imbuement build. I've tried other builds but none seem as satisfying as shadow when you see all of the mobs just popping out of existense. My biggest issue is picking what skills synergize the best with Twisting Blades. Shadow step is nice, the dash is too. I haven't tried the Shadow Clone as an ultimate, but I might give it a shot or go for the Death Trap. Its cooldown is cut in half if it hits 5 enemies. So with prep and this effect combined I imagine it would allow you to drop Death Traps left and right while also giving 30 energy each Death Trap.
I know it’s only been 3 days but your vid’s are good. Can we do a updated vid on this build if we’re to this point already . First time playing Diablo and I’m just guessing on my second paragon board knowing I’m not getting the best outa my character lol. Looking forward to the next vid, keep up the good work man. Oh quick ? What made u choose invigorating strike over puncture pros and con I get the energy refund, but since I’m new I’m like what would I loose or gain if I switched it to puncture like everyone in there brother uses. Thanks
great build as always. One issue, lol, the Vengeful Aspect doest match. I have it from the dungeon etc but it rains arrows and has nothing to do with critical like the one showed in video. Any input on this? thanx
Never liked twisting blades. I found Flurry to be more my style and after testing a lot of builds found cold imbuement works wonders, along with shadow step, shadow clone, momentum and puncture I had no issue staying alive and dealing a lot of damage. Had momentum up 100% of the time with Flurry and was getting my clone every 15-20 seconds with preparation. I think the games balanced enough at tier 3 that you can make most builds work. It's also super satisfying to freeze an entire room of enemies and have them all explode. Not to mention Flurry has healing built in which does sustain you against non elite enemies.
Yeooo wanna say your rogue video was great, I followed your levelling guide and really appreciate how you emphasized “QUALITY OF LIFE”. Going to switch over to your end game build - but with the new patch tk TB I was wondering if you could do an update and or just comment here if you’d change anything following that. Thanks
Got bored of this rogue and built a poison and flurry of blades one based on attack speed buffs. Tried the different elements and I think poison melts the best. I’d like to see y’all look at some other end game rogue thought.
I will give it a try, I play the same build with poison trap instead of the Clone, and use the poison trap to stun enemy this increase survavibility but ofc less damage and less energy.
Sorry if I'm missing it, but you don't say on here or in the written guide, what bit of gear to put the edge masters aspect on. With the aspects you show, there's no room to fit it in.
Same here. They don't add up and also he has 1/5 on some skills, but then the nodes further still unlocked somehow. The game doesn't allow me to unlock nodes unless I am at least 2/5 on the particular skill. How did he do it?
When you talk about the protecting aspect you said we'll get an amulet with a Spector or something in the first part of the campaign? What's the amulet called and why is it important? I was a lil confused.
awesome, my build was very simluar but learned a few very interesting and definitly better things that i had myself. cheers, see you in game budski!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm loving the sustain of the build, but it feels clunky/slow. I don't have the ravagers aspect could be one point. But feel like I'm lacking alot of movement and attack speed. Any tips?
Also,. I noticed you have a lot of conditional damage on your weapons. I've been reading these are all Additive bonuses and don't amount to a ton of extra dps. Wouldn't you be better served by Vulnerability/Crit Strike Chance/Crit Strike Dmg/Dex?
I like the build but I wanted to know what the thoughts on a poison variant was. Pzn trap and imbue instead of shadow and shadow step. I've been levelling this way and it feels good. Poison stacking seems legit at least in tier 2
Hello. Does distant damage item stats counts when twisted blades comes back from impaled enemy? I mean, use it, and then dash far away , so now IT should be distant damage, right?
Great guide, I do have question, I notice on all guides everyone seems to use an Ultimate, is there a reason why Ultimates are needed for any build? I am running a similar build to this but use caltrops instead of any ultimate, to be honest I decimate everything on sight and my cool downs are minimal.
I'm running my build with 5 skills atm. If I could make a build work with less I would. Anyone's build doesn't have to have ultimate or capstone. But I'm not really sure why you wouldn't capstone.
Great build, played a version of it during the initial beta, and again while leveling. Love it, most fun build in the game by far. And now it's nerfed to dust! You hate to see it, Blizzard strikes again.
I dont understand how is your shadow imbuement cooldown dropping so fast? Is it only the Twisting Blades upgrade? Preparation should only apply to your ultimate, but I'm seeing it reset itself really fast in this video
Following up on this: the reason I am seeing a difference is the nerf to Twisting Blades CD reduction passive option which reduced the CD reduction you get on skills by over half. In my opinion its made this much harder, as you often dont have your shadow imbuement when you need it (unless you are much higher level and have an insane attack speed and more passive CD reduction)
it'll be my first time playing diablo and i'm very interested in twisting blades rogue, would you say its feasible for a beginner? worried about being to fragile in endgame, but if its doable...
There are definitely many other beginner builds that are easier. However, even if you have never played and start off in World Tier 1 you should be fine... it's all about practice!
Actually i have the same idea i haven't tried this build yet but I'm planning on trying it tonight, I hope the admin gives us his thoughts about the death trap😊
