I really like the tiny detail that Mazda put in, like that turn signal that turns on instantly, but then fades out gently on the gauge cluster.
Yup, and that matches the fade out effect on the exterior turn signals, something that they've started with the CX-30.

I love that you do these POV night drives. It can be difficult to know how a vehicle's headlights perform and your videos do great at demonstrating that. It's a shame you don't have a video featuring the VW Touareg at night because that's what I'm in the market for now. Keep up the great work!
Please keep doing what your doing, these videos are like the pre-test drive. You and I know both know there's a whole song-and-dance when going to a dealership even before taking the car out for a spin; your vids just help with assessing if it's worth going to check out in person. I love these night drives! Especially in cars that have a nice night feel. Some of my most cherished memories are from driving at night; it’s great to know the night time vibe of a car I’m considering buying. Not to mention that’s it’s just so calming.

Mazda is doing some really good stuff man. The brands fleet is nice across the board. Mazda has really elevated themselves into a different category.
I much prefer this over the ugly Subaru crosstrek. The CX 30 is more refined in style, best part, no cvt. Makes it better off road and more fun to drive

Hello Topher, Just wanted to thank you for making this sound comparison! I have been looking for actual sound system reviews for the mazda 3 which has the bose sound system. I can appreciate the fact that you played many different genres of music to give other listeners a taste of what to expect. I really enjoy electronic music so this was nice to see how the bass and mids sound like with said genre. Thanks!

This video is what made me decide on a cx-30 premium for myself
CX-30 is a better Mazda3 than the current Mazda3 that it shares a platform with. It’s more fun to drive and it’s more practical. It’s also less expensive than the Mazda3 hatchback. The new Bose audio in both cars is a HUGE improvement over the previous one. It could be the best sounding Bose audio I’ve heard in any vehicle.

Very much hesitating between a CX-5 and the CX-30. I know there isn't much price difference between the two. However with the CX-30 Turbo coming in beginning of 2021, it seems that you get something very more exclusive and with the latest awesome design interior and features. For someone that is most of the time a solo driver, the smaller space won't be an issue and the smaller frame could just make it more fun to drive I would assume.
What did you end up getting?

I hope you can adjust or have it shut off unless you touch that dial the multi media infotainment display its too bright at night. blacks are not off there is brightness to that whole rectangular area and would find that distracting.

I want one of these SO bad. But I'm turned off by the premium trim's cylinder deactivation. I wish Mazda would make it optional.
Why? Is cylinder deactivation bad? I hear turbos don’t do this but then turbos can do some damage to especially if you don’t take care of your engine.

That vehicle yes, because is a SkyActiv-X engine, the SkyActiv-G doesn't have.
Can that annoying Chime when you start the car be turned off?
Probably a small plug under the dash
