Caleb, the greatest compliment I can offer you is to let you know that I just watched this video three times over. You\ve just managed to do something that soooo many "cinematic" RUclips videos don't do... you had something to say. Your "b-roll" was genuinely that: B-roll to your A-Roll. Well done for actually having meaningful A-Roll! ...btw, and THAT'S why I'm your newest subscriber ;-)
Hi, you're doing great! Very good rhythm, the music immerses you in what is happening! I really liked the image where the hero wakes up - in the semi-darkness, the focus is not on him, but in the depths on the trees (like a sleepy state), then the hero goes to the kitchen - also a sleepy frame, unfocused on the hero. Then a cup of coffee, and the hero drinks coffee in awakening in sharpness. Very well passed the morning on the way to work.
Seems like the lens IS does pretty good on there... Most lenses seem to fight itself so to speak, and create warping / wobble due to the IS but, this looks good. Gonna have to try it.
If you get a chance, take a look at my feature documentary called Fountains of Kansas City. 70 minutes covering about 60+ fountains in the KC area. Blue Dragonfly Films. I shot most of it before I got my Mavic Air 2 and all before I got a BMPCC 4K. But I did get shots with a BMCC/EF 2.5K and they are quite beautiful.
@@calebjhawkins I think he meant it shouldn't be a profile shot but rather a frontal portrait shot. And I agree as well. But other than that great work!
Beautiful work! Love it!
I guess RUclips really does know what I had to watch and hear righ now :) Good luck on your journey and see you there :)

Kansas City fella? I wonder if we’ve met. You attend any IFCKC meetings?
Yes I am! Hmmm…I haven’t. Looks interesting!

" but what I do know is that there's no turning back"
Beautiful footage! Was a BPM filter used here?
I used a Moment Cinebloom filter
The last take should be in the front of the camera :)
What do you mean?

@@brakmaster Ah I see what your saying. Yeah that would be better. Thanks!
