Something like: Democrats fail to reply forcefully or don't know what to do etc. It's horrifying. A democracy will ALWAYS be messy. Only a government BY the people can result in a government FOR the people, but "by the people" means: people like you and me, who try to figure it out, get it wrong once in a while, achieve many small victories, and once again huge BFDs. I am a white democrat from GA, I have lived in GA my entire life, and the suppression from people here is real. I didn’t mail in or drop off my ballot, I went in person on the day, and I waited for 5 minutes. I am in a red county just south of Atlanta. If I had to vote where many people knew me, I would have been afraid, because of the threats I have received for being vocal about my beliefs in how people should be treated fairly and civil rights for all.

I always thought it was implausible that he would win every swing state.
As an associated point, it’s stunning (from an external perspective), that Swing States are possible.
If there are for example 15 Electoral Votes and the voters are split 48%/52%… the democratic thing to do would be to allocate 7+8.
I live in one of those swing states, Wisconsin. It gets worse. Historically, less than 1% of the vote in every presidential election is a bullet ballot, where no candidate is filled in, except for a would-be president. During the 2024 election, anywhere from 4% to as high as 7% of the votes were bullet ballots. The problem is, this ONLY happened in the seven swing states! And only in blue districts. Nearly 4.8 MILLION votes suddenly vanished; purged or thrown out arbitrarily. This also only happened in blue districts, especially targeting students and people of color.
This election was stolen by Trump.
This is why he fired so many attorneys general. Because they would have made this information public FAST. They pulled off a bloodless coups. We know without question that Elon Musk was behind it, because Pennsylvania apparently went to Trump "in a landslide," despite the results being (strangely) hotly contested everywhere else. Also, at his rallies, Trump kept opening his pie hole about Elon messing with the computers, such as in Pennsylvania. Finally, how the HELL did Elon Musk know the results of the election eight hours before everyone else, even Trump?!

They then had the nerve to reject my ballot under “unusual circumstances” and had me do all these steps to verify my ballot and yet they never approved it. Im Canadian and not a Trump or republican supporter, but I am genuinely curious why don’t many states require photo ID. In Canada we require ID to vote provincially and federally. I’m not doubting the election outcome in the states, but it seems to me requiring ID gives a sense of security and integrity of the vote.. shouldn’t the question not be voter access, but easier access to government Identification instead?

Even if Greg is inaccurate, Trump and Elon’s own comments were extremely suspicious before and after the election. Add to that Trump’s rally turnout compared to Kamala’s. She ran on a positive message of hope.
It is suspicious for sure, but until we have some actual proof and evidence of something we have to accept it.
I think we proved that hate and fear are more effective motivators than hope and love. It's easier to hate and fear things you don't truly understand (like immigrants and people that look different than you and economics and science). Too many people don't even know basic biology. It's not surprising they voted for a conman selling them snake oil that says all your problems are because of other people and not your own actions.

As a registered Democrat, I received a mail-in ballot from a Republican source. This was a red flag for me because in my state one has to request a mail-in ballot and I never made such a request. I was encouraged to fill it out and send it back. Of course I didn't but imagine if anyone did. Was that vote counted, or did it look like this person never voted?

They watched each vote being counted. 2016 and 2024 were almost the same, except Trump lost Nevada, and won the rest of the swing states. 2020 was the outlier. But Democrats don't have common sense.

My son is a college student. His Texas mail in ballot was NOT counted. Supposedly he didn’t provide proof of his identity, even though he printed out a picture of his license both front and back and submitted it with his ballot. His ballot was rejected and Travis County reached out and provided a link for him to again provide proof. They accepted his identity proof but still rejected his ballot. There are several other kid’s on his campus, from throughout Texas, that ran into the same problem.

Ballots though were rejected. People were purged from the registers. They got rid of the votes/voters before they could even vote. So a recount wouldn't necessarily work.

A small discrepancy in responses can make all the difference in a close contest. Palast didnt propose any mechanism by which this widescale fraud was actually implemented; he just knows that "somehow" they brought it off. Just like MAGAS "know" that Biden stole the election in 2020, without wondering why George Soros et al at Voter Fraud Central didnt manage to rig it for Harris this time by the very same methods. I registered to vote my senior year in HS (almost 40 years ago!) I voted early in person in November. I looked on line in December to make sure I am registered to vote in April. It says I am NOT REGISTERED. There was some hanky panky. And we were motivated. We voted early and there were long lines EVERYWHERE!!!!

That is why you should check your voter status well before the deadline for registration. You can do this online. In many states, if one hasn’t voted for “x” number of election cycles the state will purge them.
This is something we all need do... take all these extra steps to make sure our votes are counted... and even then...
