The power of iLogic can be seen in simple, standalone rules, but did you know it’s possible to expand this power to advanced, multi-rule programs? Expanding your iLogic beyond a single rule opens doors to more flexibility and reusability, and leads to higher productivity in design and development. The keys to expanding into multi-rule programs are subroutines, functions, and external rules. Join us to learn how these features work, including:
-Subroutines and Functions: what’s the difference, and how to use them
-External Rules: setting up global rules and how to call them
-How to pass values and objects between multiple rules

SO HELPFUL!!! Thank you for not only just spewing code but explaining WHAT the code is doing!!!! So needed this kind of explanation probably the most important part of this lecture. :D
Glad it was helpful!

Good to hear Mostafa! Thank you for watching.
nice
Hi Guys, Great videos. Just want to ask you to put the videos in sequence because for the begineer its very hard to decide which video is to watch first. Thanks heaps!
Thanks for watching Ram. That's a good note, I'll bring this up with the team. In the meanwhile, feel free to check out our channel for the ilogic/automation playlist which has all of our videos on the topic (in no particular order though).
In the sample file there's a rule "CommonFunction", which seems to contain some functions that are used within other rules. However I can't seem to figure out how to make this work, any help on that?
can you share that iLogic code for the decimal to fraction?
Thanks for reaching out! Yes, please send an email to support@ketiv.com, and we can provide you the files.
