Another INCREDIBLE episode! I don't want this season to end. Seeing the X-Men in their classic suits was awesome! The writing is top notch, the music is amazing, and the animation/visuals continue to be breathtaking and phenomenal. THAT ENDING!?!??!?! I'm SUPER HYPED for the season finale next week!
Also, I think people forget that Genosha is Magneto's *second* genocide that he's experienced in his life. That would obviously take a toll on anybody.
You can be plenty mad at Magneto since he blasted both normies and muties with that stunt and most muties still need modern tech to survive because they still have normie needs and their abilities honestly aren't that impressive in comparison.
Xavier and Magnus are both right. However, their war will affect all of humanity and bring about the Days Of Future Past future that they were trying to stop from happening. Bastion and anti-mutant fervor lead to this tragedy. Bastion did to Genosha what humanity did to the nation of 01 in Animatrix. And that didn't end well for humanity. Magneto is absolutely right in his rage. But his road leave no future for humanity.

Magneto ripping the adamantium out of Wolverine's body was ripped straight out of the comics and in that story, Xavier retalitated by using his powers to render Magneto catatonic, but by doing so, Magneto's emotions ended up latching onto Xavier's mind, slowly influencing him forward until he developed a split personality that was a merge of both Magneto and Xavier's darkest emotions known as Onslaught which would eventually manifest its own physical body and have reprecussions felt throughout all of Marvel, which i'm pretty sure is gonna be the plot for season 2

Rogue's defection was partly from survivor's guilt, but mainly for failing to tell Gambit that she chose him. She's taking out her self-loathing like Colossus did when he defected in the comics, by redirecting it towards a violent extremist cause. Also, Chuckie there has a really hard time pulling his head out of his own ass long enough to be a supportive friend towards those grieving so he was no help.

Bro. Genosha is not just "anything" it is literally the worst thing to ever happen to mutant kind to this point and directly reminds him of the Holocaust.
