I know this won't be seen, but I have to thank you immensely. I just got started in Printing and have found only your videos to truly be helpful. I can not express the gratitude I have for your kindess.
Hi Jeremey I just got my Adventure 5 3D printer ( after your recommendations) and have printed 3 prints so far 2 from the examples and one I designed in tinkercad and all have come out great, mined you I have never played with a printer before but have watched a lot of videos thank you for putting in the time to help people like me out Cheers Mark P.S I picked it up here in AUZ for $499 shipped :)
Its really worth to mention that CNC Kitchen measured impact of layer height to nozzle diameter ratio on strength of prints and if layer is >1/2 nozzle size print looses on strength that's why default for 0.4 is 0.2 and for 0.6 is 0.3.
Good video. Thanks man. I was struggling to figure out why my prints where coming out like junk but looking at your screen in orca I can now tell my settings are off.
Really appreciate these Adventurer 5M videos. They’ve been really helpful when researching and using the printer. I’m using it for prototyping and building garage organizing accessories. The 0.6mm nozzle really helps save time.
Pro tip, since arache engine is used it´s even easier to simply increase line width to 0.6mm with the 0.4mm nozzle. You will get stronger parts (more squish layer to layer) and better quality since for fine features you can go all the way back to 0.4mm line width (you can adjust that in the slicer). Since arachne I have no sue for te 0.6mm nozzle at all. I rather use the 0.25mm nozzle and print 0.4mm wide lines at 0.18mm height which gives me superb quality and still prints relatively fast. Just play with your settings.
Thanks for the video. Doesn't look like anyone has done a full comparison of all the FlashForge available nozzles (0.25, 0.4, 0.6 Hardened & 0.8 Hardened). This would be somewhat easy to do since we only have FlashForge nozzles to consider and the AliExpress knockoffs (are the FlashForge USA nozzles the actual FlashForge variety or are those knockoffs too?). Would be much harder for others printers where there are many options. Would be great to see something like this all in one place. Nice to see example prints using different filaments with close up views of the results with abrasive & non-abrasive filaments. Also would be good to talk about slicer settings and ways to increase print quality like variable layer height, fuzzy skin, etc. to use to get the best looking prints. Hope you consider putting something together on this. Thanks.
Interesting on the min/max layer heights you got. I am looking at the stock 0.6mm FlashForge profile and it is showing 0.25/0.50 min/max...the 0.4mm matched what you showed. Also, for a tip, you should use "scarf seams" for that lego head and coupa shell to help hide the seams a little more. And, for those two you could also benefit a lot from using "variable layer height" in the slicer, which will REALLY want to verify the min/max layer values on.
I am new to 3d printing and I don't know if you use the same 1.75mm filament for both nozzlesand I have tried ABS and it just comes apart. please help an old fool out
I bought a 0.6 nozzle for an adventurer 5 m printer, and when I set all the settings in the orco slicer for this nozzle, when I start printing, the head goes to the back right corner and cracks and does not print anything, and when I change the settings to the 0.4 nozzle. The print goes correctly from the center of the table! can everyone have a problem? --
Do you know if there is an actual .4 or .25 hardened nozzle for this printer. I keep seeing them advertised as hardened but the tips aren’t black like my .6 hardened steel. Thanks
Isn't Ali-Express the Chinese Amazon? Lots of knockoffs,/ bootleg stuff and super slow shipping. How much did you save and how long did it take? was the part black market/knock off? I only ask because I would rather pay a few bucks more for the real thing, with a way to return it if its not as described. Buyer beware.

I see you! I'm glad I was able to help you out!
I would love to see a comparison between the .4 and the .25 nozzle. I prefer quality over speed
I've purchased a 5M Pro and this channel has been my main spot for information and guides. You're amazing, friend. Stay safe.

Your videos are legit. I bought the printer. What a positive difference from operating an Ender 3.
8:40 You can enable 2 parameters: reduce the layer height and reduce the width of the outer wall
yo he comprado el nozzle 0.6 hoy. Mañana me llega, estoy comentando esto mientras se reproduce tu introducción. Voy a verlo atentamente
Great video i look forward to print some models with .6. I would also love to see some comparison between .4 and .28
Really not bad with 0.60 nozzles, thanks for great video.

I can’t get the orca slicer to recognize the 5m printer. I use a Microsoft surface laptop top
Since you were having trouble printing with TPU on your last vid, do you think printing TPU with a 0.6 nozzle would fair better? Less jamming?

8mm nozzle would also be interesting.
where did you find the file for the tool holder?

Only the 0.6 and 0.8 nozzles are hardened and suitable for regularly printing abrasive filaments.
Will Flashforge release an AMS sty[e color system?
Have you tried nylon with this printer?
I notice that the presets for 6mm is about half the speed. Anyone pushed it faster
Would you say that it’s a fast and good printer?
Absolutely, and a great price if you get it for $299.

It was a legit nozzle/hotend. I use it all the time. I saved $10 and it took almost 2 weeks to arrive.
Молодцом!
Ignoring the lack of soluble support material use, it's... OK I guess, if you're into cartoon turtles.
OK, OK... yeah, my Halo fanboyizim is showing.😉
