Humor is a sign of intelligence, and nobody exemplified that more than Norm. You could tell he was highly intelligent, his lightning fast wit was legendary. There was nothing he loved more than playing dumb and watching people squirm, even though he and everyone else knew he was probably the smartest person in the room.
Norm was one of the greats. Loved that man. Everytime I fly I plug in my earpods and listen to his bit about "Janice" (The News- off the special Me Doing Standup) and I giggle so hard. He was silly and beautiful.
This man was the greatest at getting me through life. There will never be another like Norm he was an absolute genius but understood that nobody likes the smartest man in the room. Nobody played an idiot better than Norm yet he was 5 steps ahead of everybody. Extremely well read, extremely sharp, I don't think Norm would have wanted to go out like Sinatra or Rickles or George Burns and slowly lose everything infront of your audience.
