This is a talk all about Irish Garden Birds. It starts with tips and advice about feeding your garden birds, and other frequently asked questions (first 40mins). After that we talk about the Irish Garden Bird Survey, how you can take part this winter (next 20 mins), and some of the results and trends we've seen for numerous different garden bird species over the last 25 years (next 35mins), followed by questions from the audience. The survey is open to everyone, very easy to do, and you'll be helping feed into the national monitoring of some of our favourite garden bird species and how they fare during the cold winter months. How is this survey/channel not more widely known??? So interesting. Narrator, you mentioned writing for other media outlets. Could you say which ones? I would love to keep abreast of this. Am fortunate to have a large garden which provides lots of birds. One of my favourite things to do is keep on top of the feeders and watch the visitors that arrive as a result.

I breed my own mealworms as of April in this year!!!! So easy, not smelly, i find it to be very mindful and rewarding.
