I live in Florida, and one of the places I worked in had a barn owl nest in the trees at the front of the property. I worked nights, so I got to hear the babies screeching quite often. I was even lucky enough to see one of the parent owls glide over the yard. I adore these birds, they are so important to the environment. It’s good to see people getting involved in protecting them. ❤️
learned alot from this nest this season....thank you!!!. I had a family of 5 over my front door for the first time. I'll be building a proper nest box, with camera, in hopes of keeping them off my house. Can't wait!!!
can you share what kind of camera you are using ? I wonder if owls are not disturbed by it ? I have a barn owl next box, an owl came to inspect it but kept staring at the camera, went away and didn't come back. So I wonder if I have a wrong kind of camera installed ?

So small and fluffy... and they already sound like demoniac entities about to rip your soul 😆
Yes indeed, ruined buildings are so important for a wide range of wildlife, here is some more information if interested: ruclips.net/video/5lQt3C8uI5E/видео.html
Isn’t about time for owls to return and. Start working on a new clutch of eggs? Loved watching last year. Hoping the owls return 🙏🏼

Gosh they are the most adorable demons birds I’ve ever seen. Or should I say heard lol. But I still find those demonic screeches positively cute!
Gosh, but they're noisy babies. Gorgeous footage and fair play to the cottage owner for his health and safety attempts.
I hope barn owl numbers continue to increase
Things are looking up but a long way to go.
Stupendo. Grazie di averlo condiviso!

They do
Just goes to show the importance on leaving derelict buildings standing and accessible for wildlife.
