Seems to me after watching many a hotel rescue series, the main reasons hotels fail is either because the owners make it their party/hobby/fetish house, or they use the building as storage for their massive hoard. Sometimes both.

Love Alex but along with Fiona Bruce they have possibly the worst dress sense of any woman in the public eye. Even the decor isnt great though as she says so long as it's fresh, clean and modern, it is what the "modern traveller", "expects". I have seen two or three places I would stay at and I've seen lots of these. Will only watch Alex as she is fair and decent, unlike Ruth - who is downright offensive to people clearly to humuliate not help .
