    It’s kinda scary how this show was filmed in 2021 because it feels like It took place in the 2000.

    The kids being homeschooled could have gotten diplomas. That is a huge fail on the mom. That means she pulled the stuff she did to Moriah to all the kids. When they turned 17 she expected them to be adults and pay for themselves, meaning none of them finished highschool. You can get a diploma through out the US by homeschooling but this woman didn't do her job.

    I see a lot people on X blaming Olivia for everything, and it blows my mind. They literally think she ruined the whole family 🙄. When Micah & Mariah used Olivia as a scapegoat as to why they were upset at Kim was maddening. I'm so glad Olivia got far away from that toxic family.

    Wow.
    If there was EVER a couple that should’ve been in therapy from DAY 1 it’s Olivia and Ethan- individually AND together

      More like Kim and Barry. I bet none of this would be happening if Kim would have just gotten some damn therapy after she killed her toddler.

    The writing on the wall goes back to what Mariah is saying today she is lying about what she said Olivia turned them against their parents but according to that song she hated her parents before she started hanging out with Ethan and Olivia . But she blames Olivia for turning her against her parents . She thinks if she hates Olivia her parents will love her .

    What is missing is balance. You can't protect your children from the world forever, parents that don't teach their children how to make it out in that world has failed them, and parents that don't teach their children a trade by which they can live by has abandoned them. Even if they are physically present. All they have is a pocket full of good intentions.

    I dont understand why Olivia even picked Ethan as a husband having her own demons from being raised the way Ethan was raised and then try to make him over?.....Wouldnt she have been better off just picking a christian man who wasnt raised in such a small world?.....now that they are divorced shes going to have to do that anyway and Im afraid Ethan will become a smoker, drinker and maybe even a druggy now thanks to her glamorizing those things to him...........

    • @clogreen1960
      @clogreen1960 10 месяцев назад +20

      What… Olivia never glamorized those things. Ethan’s parents kept him so sheltered. Olivia was able to show him what the real world is like. If anyone is to be a bad example for alcohol, it’s Kim, his mother. I agree that they got married super young but that was the norm that they’ve seen their whole lives.

    • @samanthaschumacher615
      @samanthaschumacher615 Месяц назад

      They were completely pressured to get married by both of their families because otherwise they couldn’t have even dated. They were both incredibly young and I don’t think it’s fair to blame either of them for having a toxic marriage given their ages and the fact that neither of them had ever seen a healthy partnership. They simply grew apart which MANY couples do, especially ones that started the relationship as teens.
      It’s wild to blame Olivia or act like she corrupted a grown man who is entirely capable of making his own decisions. Ethan says himself multiple times he is terrible at communication and rarely sticks up for his wife or his marriage. Olivia put up with a lot and tried constantly to make it work and get him to open up.
      She learned the lesson the hard way that you can’t change anyone if they don’t want to change, and so she left.
      Again-these people were married before their frontal lobes had even fully developed after both being raised in extremely strict religious households.
      Olivia has grown up a lot since then and is a very open-minded, adventurous person. Ethan seems to be clinging to the past + turning into Barry. They simply weren’t compatible.

      @@mistybethune9116 Honey you might wanna check Google before talking out of your ass. Bottom line is 18 is *universally* recognized as adulthood in America. Kicking your teenager out before they’re an adult is quite questionable. You can even legally rent an apartment in Georgia on your own at 17. Get a clue.

      @@misterwinkybluff i know what im talking about because i live in ga and as a teenager lived through the contriversay that was when they passed this law. Its supposed to be where state laws or not overrode by federal law. for instance one the biggest issues i remember because it happened to a friend of mine in 12th grade. is that yourkid can leave home at 17 and you cannot legally do anything about it but you cant kick them out. a classmate of mine though parents swore up and down even in court that she left on her own and than said she wanted to come back. i find it amusing that than her dad got mad she got pregnant well her bf house was only place she had to go.

    Well you aren’t very bright either to think Kim made all these rules for her children alone, if you knew anything about the family this is how Barry wanted to children to grow up not Kim, Kim never grew up like this Barry did . Kim is the one talking about it all the blame goes on Kim ,
    There are two parents in this house-whole not one .
    Funny how all the children are now going back to the life style they all ran away from .
    How does that work .
