The thing is that Dori Dori is very well accustomed to the handling of FR RWD cars in the raining and wet track coming from his AE86 background. You need to be well trained in order to be accustomed to any different dynamics of any car, be it mid engined and rwd or fwd.
The BEAMS 3SGE Altezza is arguably better than the N/A 2JZ variant. Not as nose heavy and power is comparable. Plus the engine being shorter, the weight balance go towards the center.
all right. I moved from the altezza 3s to the 2j-ge and now I feel the effect of extra weight on the front axle. It's still not bad on dry asphalt, but in the rain and in winter, the front often slides out of the turn if you drive aggressively

I find the pedal placement in German cars to be much closer together than in Japanese cars, making it a bit trickier to heel and toe. But like the Crazy Car Guy said, you just gotta keep practicing.
Use the half foot method. Half your foot for braking the other half for throttle. Practice with it before you use it while braking hard. That's the way I heel-toe.

The integra is also a type R while the mr2 is 3S-GE. A 3S-GTE would have beaten the Integra even more
