And can listen there for free or pay whatever you’d like for the track- any money it gathers will go toward recording this song and others to follow in the months to come. Much love!
Lyrics
You used to open up the windows in the room
Where the twin beds were
For the Colorado breeze
To help me sleep
You kept your band-aids with all of your
Baskets of hotel soap
And you’d smile at me
They’re only skinned knees
Oh, what I would give to
See you again
You’d call us in for dinner from the kitchen
I wish that I had spent more time listening
To your every sneeze
To the lilt in your speech
Oh, what I would give to
Hear them again
Oh, what I would give to
See you again
Oh, what I would give
Oh, what I would do
Just to see you live
And get caught in the green and blue
With you
On
Elm Avenue
I love it, a deep song 😍🤩
What a treat and a dream ❤😍
Thank you so much, Imran 🥹❤️
Really deep thought 💭 song . Really super sounds, like your recording equipment. Your vocals and guitar sound beautiful.
Thank you so much!
Sorry, I have no idea about sound recording techniques. But I do have an ear and I perceive not only excellent quality, but even more important for me, an amazing authenticity in what you sing. I sense that what your song transmits is in the same vein as folk in its origins, which transformed a very hard and sad reality into poetry and harmony that gave hope.
I appreciate this so much! I am certainly a huge fan of the folk tradition, and am enjoying learning more about it as I continue to write songs! I so appreciate you listening, cheers! 🙂

Cheers!
I request a new video of how to set up a condenser mic and your recording equipment. I'm a plug and play with PA. Kinda guy. But nothing sounds like this.
I use an AKG P420 and run it through the Scarlett 2i2 3rd Gen interface. The setup for me is all about positioning the mic to pick up a good balance of guitar and vocals! Learning from there. 🙌🏼 Hope this helps! Cheers!
@@molliedanel thanks 👍
