    If it was easy we’d all be doing it. You are doing an amazing job and you are still at the beginning of your Grand Prix journey. Looking at your video I see a lovely picture of harmony between you and sausage, his little ears are constantly listening to your aids . Also I can see so much improvement in you both. It’s been a privilege to follow you and your journey. Thank you so much for taking the time to share it.xxx

    My dear Olivia, I don't know why you are not thaaaaaat satisfied, but I think you did GREAT!!!!! Yes, the Pi-Pa can improve, you know that and you know what to do as well, but nevertheless, the Pi at around 11.18 was quite good! I am really looking forward to see more of you both. Greetings from Germany.

    I thought it was a well constructed test and has come so far from the very first one you did - the walk, watch the energy level and that it stays a true 4 beat, your changes were great you should be so proud of your achievements you are at the top of the tree now so just keep chipping away at making it better congratulations 😁

    don't be so hard on yourself! - i know easier said than done as I'm exactly the same! However, I thought your test was beautiful and a clear display of the hard work you have been putting in. You both look so much more connected and in harmony. How exciting for you, you're still at the beginning of your journey and your doing amazing! Well done you :D

    Thank you for sharing this. I just love these edits and commentary. I felt your comment about panic riding. You and Wilf have come SO FAR! He is so impressive and strong and you two often look like you meld into one. Stunning!

    You really are bringing the best out of Wilfred! I love your way of thinking and training the horses. It was so clear he was trying his best throughout the whole test even though he finds some aspects hard. You make such a lovely team.

    Yay!!! Wilf does a proper, genuine piaffe and not that weird shuffle often seen at Grand Prix level, even at international level. Am super impressed. Your first self trained Grand Prix horse is so good that I am super excited for your future horses.
    Edited to add that I have also seen video of him training at home.

    I still remember how much you struggled with the canter in the tests not THAT long ago, and now look at him! well done and its amazing you have taken this horse to the GP, he is not a natural big mover as many of the other horses. that too is such inspiring. thankyou for taking the time and energy to share this. we love it!

    I think you've done amazing with him and yourself. I thought there was so much improvement and a lot less tension! Keep up the good work & your honest opinions and words of wisdom, gives me hope for my journey with 2 OTTB!!!

    Nice to see a Keysoe I used to compete there all the time and haven’t been back since it’s been sold due to my horse being in training and actually near you in Herefordshire. So a long way to bring her for unaffiliated and go to Kings instead which is great for a youngster.

    Look at you go! You did a really great job. It was a good test, and you came away with the best thing: you know how to make it better, and so does Sausage. It was a test you can both grow from, and it was even a good one! I am so massively proud of you, for whatever that's worth.

    Olivia I thought you and Wilf did a really good job and look how far you have come together. Go and look at a video from 2 years ago and give yourself a really big pat on the back. Then give your mom a hug 🤗 . Onwards and up.

    I hope you compete tomorrow,. Any experience is beneficial. If you listen to this blog your describe a few things that you know you could work on tomorrow gives you a wonderful opportunity to work on one or more of those. Maybe right now you might consider competing against your last score and forget about the other riders. You’ve got this!

    Hi Olivia, do you think that sometimes you are marked down as Sausage is a more economical but powerful mover rather than a high legged extravagant mover like is becoming more the norm on the Olympic stage for example?

    • @OliviaTowersDressage
      @OliviaTowersDressage  3 года назад +1

      Maybe! Even though his canter work is very obedient he never scores higher than a 7 in it which is a shame x

    Hun, please dont compare yourself to a theoretical perfection. You cant win. Was it better than last time? there's your victory.
