Large displacement-nat aspirated VS Small displacement Turbo. Go large for longevity, reliability and quiet operation.

I agree! This engine is old school. Should be reliable for yrs. That new turbo 3 maybe a disaster long term I almost and may buy a new Buick Envista. But a GM 3 cyl with a wet timing belt system scares the shit out of me

We have a 2017 murano platinum bought new . Got $10,000 off it was filfthy in the back lot but it went from $46-47k down to $37,000. Has every option available. Being black it has a few marks but only 65k miles and just did second CVT service

This is good because that powerful engine and a Marano will be a lot harder on that transmission than my wimpy rogue

My mom has a 2019. I gotta get her to service the transmission on it.

I don't mind a Rogue SV if it's a cheap & cheerful wagon for your average ham & egger (especially if you got this one for way under sticker!) ... the $36k loaded Platinum with an 84 month loan is quite a different story. Too much over $30k and I would be looking elsewhere. But this seems like an honest everyday driver, and if it holds up, it seems like a fine little unit for a non-car person.
