There are a lot of electric bass technique virtuosos out there, but I haven't heard many who are this musical, where his technique is really just a vehicle to express his engaging and always coherent ideas. It's refreshing.
And Marco Panascia is also killing it on the upright!
Best electric jazz bassist today in my honest opinion. This guy is a rare gem!

please tell us the walking technique the electric bass is using. It sounds muted but he isn't palm muting. I must know, its brilliant aha
Yeah, that's my question too. He's bot palm muting but he might be doing left hand muting, muting the strings with all of his fingers giving that muted tone.
Muting with his right hand pinky, Sounds awesome.
The left hand is using normal technique. He's plucking on the right hand using the pointer and he's muting close to the bridge with the 3rd finger or with the pinky.
