Awesome tutorial guys! I've heard mixed opinions on this product lately. But after watching this I'm confident I'll put this tool to good use!! Much appreciated

Coming from a 30 year old tapetech, this tool is a really nice upgrade. Cuts easily, rolls straight. Nifty paper keeper rod design. However, the aluminum is very thin and soft, bends easily. Don't drop this tool.

not with premixed mud, you have to use quick set mud with mesh tape or it will crack

Tip #1 . . . Should really lightly "V" the butt joints with a sharp utility knife and prefill them with setting compound.
Tip#2 . . . When done taping for the day, empty bazooka of most of the mud by manually turning the clutch, which winds the cable into the internal barrel, and advances the plunger up into the tube until the tube is mostly empty. Run clean water through your pump until it is clean. Then pump clean water into the bazooka until it is full. With the bazooka oriented so that the base is touching the ground ( or parallel over a couple of buckets), and the head is over an empty bucket, once again advance the plunger by turning the clutch, until the tube is mostly empty of water. Do this a couple of times. Then shake the head of the tube back and forth in a water bucket, and it will be clean internally. Clean the outside with a soft brush. And the internals of the open tube with a bathroom brush. Spray with light oil, and it's good to go.
