    I always wonder how she was able to speak English with an awesome British accent, than she suddenly dropped it, maybe it didn't feel authentic to her?

      She had a slight british accent because she lived in England during her Debut and Post era. When you live in a certain region for a while you pick up their accent, unconsciously. She moved back to Iceland years later, so she spoke more Icelandic day to day i’m assuming, meaning she developed a stronger Icelandic accent throughout the years.

      ​@@raylee444 I assume that rather than developing a stronger Icelandic accent, she lost the British accent and that's why she sounds more Icelandic.
