I know this is an old comment, but i've always thought it was awesome how, off the top of my head, pchal, wolfey, AND jaiden got better at storytelling once they became friends with him. He truly is the GOAT of storytelling he kinda always has been.
That's because the vanilla games were made so stale for years that those looking for fun had to take things into their own hands. Seems to be a pattern these days...
It'd probably be somewhat similar to pvp rankings, except that defensive mons will typically be rated higher then average as defensive mons are easier to use without needing to sack anything (a good defensive core means you mostly just worry about set-up sweepers). Set up mons can also be pretty great at winning 1v6, though they do have to worry about random focus sashes (if you did not set up stealth rocks) or choice scarfs (if you rely on naturally high speed rather than dragon dance/quiver dance). Most OU mons will do fine though.
@Dragonoid269 Well you're not entirely off, but you'd be surprised by what Pokémon rank high and which ones end up not doing great. One of the biggest surprises for me was Raticate actually being pretty solid and Registeel being objectively broken
The editing on this video is so good! Using the zooms on the Pokémon to hide cuts that reduce visual dead time, while still keeping the audio flowing and avoiding the look of hard cuts. Turned out great!
Happy Birthday, also I really liked the editing of the in game text of what is happening while focusing on your face cam reactions. It's a really nice touch. I mean you edit back and forth a lot of the UI elements, not just over your face cam, but it was the most noticeable there.

I like the new editing style of putting the move in as another window while the animation plays so you can save time there. I don't know if it actually enhances the experience or it makes it too fast to comprehend, but it's a neat choice at least.

The nanosecond I saw Jolteon I knew what was gonna happen. Hidden Power IS very difficult to play around but some pokemon are a lot more likely to carry it than others.
