The sentence I forgot to finish about Glashütte Original was that even some of their watches have the same type of date setting and there is a significant price difference. I found setting the date on the Nomos is easy.
You are so lucky, to have this watch, its so beautiful , i have not seen such a beautiful watch like this Besides zeppelin and junkers automatic also are beauty, but this one is of different world
Horween shell cordovan, horse hide leather. It is on the more expensive side, when it comes to straps, but it is worth it, I would say. It ages very nicely and is very durable too. They use it for polo boots and JLC uses it for their reverso line as well. JPM makes very nice ones, but Nomos sells these straps seperately too. The medium size from them is usually the best fit. I have an 18.5Cm wrist and the long one was just... well, far too long on my wrist.
the date changed instantaniously, but not exactly at midnight, indeed. so it is not like a Seiko where it start at 10.30pm and finishes at 2am, but instantly although mine was not perfectly at 12.
My next purchaser. Already own a Nomos.

Thanks so much for the review. Thinking about getting one for the holiday. What kind of strap did you mention?

@@papapityke6486 thanks for the recommendation, really appreciate the detailed response!
Hi, does the date naturally change instantly at midnight, or does it only change the date 20 minutes after like in your demo?
