No, he sacrificed his time and grace to help the city of Baltimore. and he has been a striving figure in the Baltimore city community and Baltimore country community.
Matthew 6:5 [5]And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
Mike Baylis I was going to say. On top of that, How do you pray to the God of Abraham Issac and Jacob about not wanting them to remove a statue of yourself(vanity, self praise, etc). Ray Lewis failed to realize that there are people who watch sports that also diligently read from every book of the Bible. He must not have read the part of not praising statues in the Old Testament cause that’s what pagans do. He needs to learn the true gospel and not what the Sunday churches are preaching. What’s going on in this country is sad & unfortunately was planned. My opinion on kneeling for a flag is diff than most, however God gave us free will, so Colin has the right to kneel just like owners have the right to not hire him. What we do with the free will we will be judge on at end of this age. There are injustices in every country in this world, that’s the sinful nature of man. So it’s going to take God to return with a New World. It would just be nice if people just kept it real with themselves and everyone else. There would be less hypocrisy. Now he’s caught up out there cause he looks like a hypocrite.
Wow I can't believe fans are crying about removing a statue. i'm not for kneeling for the flag but I understand Ray and everyone has the right to. we have bigger issues to worry about so quit whining
If you want to pray, then go to church, unless racial politics has become a religion. And if taxpayer dollars are paying for these stadiums, then the religion of racial politics should not inject itself into a shared secular civic tradition...
John Nowakowski - You are absolutely wrong , simply because that is his freedom of speech . Pus players and coaches often pray together before and after games . Also ,most people in the USA are sworn into court with their hands upon THE WORD OF GOD , and many of our politicians and service Men and Women do the same .
For you people (we know who you are) comparing this to the removal of confederate statues you're pathetic. This doesn't even compare. I won't even waste my energy comparing the difference. As for Ray Lewis and his two faced ass i'd very much like to see that thing come down myself, however, this is similar to the Ben Carson petition. Carson's contribution to medicine is unparalleled and his political views though isolated from his life's work can't possibly warrant removing his work from the African American Museum. Lewis statue is a symbol representing what he's done for the city of Baltimore through the NFL and his philanthropic endeavors. No one can take that away........unfortunately smh.
I am fine with the athletes kneeling during the Anthem, but Ray should have never stayed in the league after his involvement and cover up of the murder.
Earl Putnal You need better reading comprehension. I did not say he committed the murder, but he was involved and did help cover it up. Two weeks into the trial Lewis's attorneys, Don Samuel and Ed Garland, negotiated a plea agreement with the District Attorney where the murder charges against Lewis were dismissed in exchange for his testimony against Oakley and Sweeting,[124] and his guilty plea to a misdemeanor charge of obstruction of justice.[19] Lewis admitted he gave a misleading statement to police on the morning after the killings (initially telling them that he was not at the scene). I don’t know if he committed the actual murder, but he was there, and he did try to cover it up, so my statement is not hypocritical, and it is factual. If this would have happened today with all of the cameras and social media, Lewis would have been put if the league. I don’t care if he played football well.
@@voidofbeeswax Ok. Granted. He was trying to cover his own ass. But he intially was charged with the murders before the other two guys were arrested. Now are you going to sing like a canary and save your own ass just like Ray did? Or are you going to take the fall for something you didn't commit? Ray initially wanted to be kept out of it. But since he was there. He tried to make the best of a bad situation. Unfortunately he got caught. Trying to help himself and the wrong people. And the main thing I'm saying here is. If you don't cause trouble? There won't be no trouble. But to those instigators who were outside the club. Where Ray was. And were tragically taken out. For causing all of that. RIP to those who knew no better.
If you're gonna take down the statue, take down the 2 Lombardi trophies with it
Read "Don't make the black kids angry" then fix the problem. Simple as that.
Ray Lewis and his statue are the very least of our problems.
ray lewis is a problem
What did Ray Lewis do for Baltimore? Sack a QB wow thanks Ray you really made a difference
No, he sacrificed his time and grace to help the city of Baltimore. and he has been a striving figure in the Baltimore city community and Baltimore country community.
Jason w exactly 😂
You're pretty ignorant. Ray did more for this city than you ever will

Take that shit down.
Ray Lewis never did anything for Baltimore
That goes to observe how much you know of what Ray Lewis has actually done for Baltimore.
I agree with you😈 on this one... Take that shit down.
Leave it alont
Ray talks just like his mother, preaching.
A man of God is more positive. Than a negative person complaining about that person being righteous and positive in today's society.
I'm a conservative and a diehard Trumper, but IMHO, athletes and public figures have the right to peacefully protest when they think things are wrong.
Wow I can't believe fans are crying about removing a statue. i'm not for kneeling for the flag but I understand Ray and everyone has the right to. we have bigger issues to worry about so quit whining
Can taking the statue down erase the double murder he was involved in??

This is crazy. Isn't this what was just taking place in Virginia? Who cares of the reasons behind it. The irony is bizarre
Thts Jonathan McCall he was here in Tulsa he used to do our news that's what's up he moved out of Tulsa to Baltimore
Ray, Showed bravery? I think the brother meant Kaepernick...
What real man of God prays in public, this is what the heathens do,they do this because they want glory and fame from the public.

Uhhhh. Another hypocritical naysayer. He was cleared of murder. Because they didn't find any criminal evidence of him killing anyone. Sighhhh.
