- Today, I'm checking out the NUX B-8 Wireless Guitar System, a tool designed to free you from cables without sacrificing sound quality.
This is my first time using a wireless system. Just a few years ago, it seemed like having a wireless guitar was far off in the future.
But these systems are becoming more popular among guitarists for their obvious cable-free advantage.

For me the ultimate test of any digital wireless system is how it performs on stage in a room full of people with their phones. Some 2.4 GHz systems have dropouts in wifi-heavy situations. For home practice use a cheap dongle-style system is usually just fine, but if I buy something in the $300+ price range, I expect it to perform in a professional environment.
Yeah, frankly, the tech probably still isn't quite there yet for a perfect performance. Maybe another 5-10 years before it's dialed in.
Looks really good, and i loved the Marty Freedman/Megadeth solo.
thanks a lot. Architecture of Aggression is an underrated solo for sure.
How does the boost work is it any good?
Good question, If I remember, I'll give it a shot and let you know.
