They are trying to save it for Caseys kid and he is half native through his mother. From what I've heard the natives trace ancestory through mothers, which means its going back to the tribe. For the record it wasn't an agreement. It was a statement of what would happen. They had the land for now, but in 7 generations the indians would take it back and the original dutton said he wouldn't care because at that point he'd be dead for more than 100 years.
