We own this camper and we love it - perfect little camper for a couple! The table was cumbersome and awkward for the space until we found the idea online to just use one leg of the table down and slide it back to the wall and make a couple shorter legs to rest it over the beside table. In this position, we can leave it up all the time and it's not in the way. We leave the twin beds made up all the time and can use the table for a night stand, or a game table or a dinette - it's perfect! If I started to list everything we LOVE about this camper, it would be about 30 items long! Easy to tow, easy to maneuver into campsites, good quality, love the windows, plenty of storage inside and out, comfy, cozy - on and on I could go! Highly recommend!

The stove top is big for a tiny camper but still it's pretty cool. Nice bigger sink. Love the TV DVD combo! All TV'S should be that way. What's not to love with this one? Even a camp griddle! One feature that is great on the Winnebago Hike is the steel propane/battery box. When you have 2 expensive Lithium batteries on the trailer, you really want some ability to lock them up properly.

    • @JoshtheRVNerd

We just ordered one of these through our local dealer. I wish you were closer to NH, we would have bought from you. This camper should be perfect for my wife and I, and our two smaller dogs. We wanted a small camper but with the dogs, and me being 6'4", we couldn't find comfortable sleeping room in any until we found the 15TB.
The space is perfect for a single or couple. In fact because we don't need bunks, but wanted one large bed, it's more usable space than the 19 foot models.
We are so happy the sink has been updated! The only one we could find to see in person was a couple years old and had the much smaller sink. We actually planned to replace it, but now don't have to.
Thanks for doing these in depth videos. This one really reinforces that we made the right choice.

Yeah, I'm with ya on a 2-burner stove & more couterspace over a 3 burner stove. I can't think of a low of cooking scenarios more than 2 burners in a camping situation that wouldn't just go to cooking outside with a grill(which it does appear to be setup for).
It's not a food stall trailer... Now, I almost wonder how hard it'd be to use it as one, though. It'd imagine it'd be doable but not sure if it'd be worth the effort.

  • @MatthewFordVictoria

As I'm 6 and a half feet tall, I like how they've raised the fridge up, instead of having to bend down to get things out. As for the Power Tower... I wish it was in one of the corners, so a Coffee Machine, or a Blender could be put in the middle with a wire going to the plug. However. having a Power Tower on that rear table between the two beds would be great for a CPAP machine instead of a wire reaching out to the nearest plug socket.

    • @JoshtheRVNerd
      @JoshtheRVNerd  2 года назад

I love the rear power tower idea but I don't think that would work here since under that "table" is outside storage. The tower would stick down in and potentially get blocked or hit by shifting cargo

Thanks Josh. I really love the size for a pack and go scenario someplace with hookups. For boondocking the lack of an oven option really makes the microwave space useless except for storage unless you run a generator. As an example - buddy hunting trip, you may be in an area where you don't want the noise/smell of a generator, so you have to pack a propane camp oven if you want to bake something. No biggie that is hopefully solved with the upcoming solar/inverter options that may power a convection microwave. Congratulations on the recent merger/expansion, I hope it all works out well and we get to see expanded content for a long time in the future. Happy holidays. EDIT: The "Power Package" is now listed for 19 foot and larger slide model Geo Pros. 400AH Lithium Ion battery, 3,000 watt inverter and 570 watts of solar. Not sure what it will run but I'm guessing everything based on the 11,000 BTU "soft start" AC. Game on!

Power tower is good, but not so close to the sink without a ground fault switch. A two burner stove in the corner with a fire proof/splash guard would give you space for food prep and coffee maker. Fan assisted convection microwave is a great way to replace ovens for baking cinnamon roles for breakfast, when you can't make them in a dutchoven over a fire outside. I love the massive storage space outside and two access points. I'd definitely want a bit more of a solar package.

Always have been a fan of the Rockwood Geo's. Love that in this size trailer you have TWO LP tanks, a electric jack. The competition is usually a single can and a arm exercise crank jack. The double Azdel is a winner....a feature found in Lance trailers at three times the price. The little port fan in the bath is also found in Airstreams so you know it works. The rear seating/sleeping area with all the windows is fantastic! I could see myself backed up to a lake enjoying my morning Mt Dew staring out the windows. Good Video Josh.....Thank you!

Reason being is to keep it dry and soap sludge clean. Love the kitchen at the front of the TT but needs a side window that opens. I've always liked the 15tb. The bathroom is adequate, it has the twin bed setup I prefer, and I like the overall size and weight. I agree a two burner stove makes more sense. My major fault is the tank sizes. What good is 31 gallons of fresh water with only 12 Grey? I'd like to see something in the ballpark of 20 fresh, 23 Grey, and 12 black.

20/20/20 would be great fresh you could bring 4/5 gallon containers of fresh with you to refill the tank.
20 black you could say out almost twice as long before dumping.

Not a bad camper for a couple. We own the Forest River E-Pro 14 Fk we like every thing but the wet bath. The floor plan looks the same as ours. Wish Geo pro would have used that little extra space to put in a dry bath. The small Retro camper has a dry bath. Wet baths are a pain. Always having to dry the walls. I put a pressure rod and a shower curtain in the back so the shower water doesn’t get behind the toilet if you don’t dry the water from behind the bottom of the toilet you can het mildew behind it. We leave our table as a bed and eat outside . I agree a2 burner stove would be better more counter space would be nice.

However the flip over bed would be more efficient. The bathroom with a dormer skylight. Otherwise not a bad alternative to basecamp.

      About 2400-2500lbs
I don't want to be a bearer of bad news but I would not recommend towing anything with a 2,000lb rated vehicle short of an ultra small/light weight garden trailer (for moving things like a lawn mower perhaps)
In addition to the lighter capacities the vehicle is probably not well suited to for handling modern hitching systems -- the frame may not support it

This is a really awesome RV! It’s bright, spacious, has some terrific features such as the huge dinette, incredible storage, very functional kitchen and an assortment of other goodies. One thing that would be a vast improvement is a table that swings, pivots and moves back and forth. The dinette table that comes with this is useful only for converting the twin beds to a king bed. When used as a dinette table it is way too low. Everything else on this camper is perfect!

Funny, I was just about to comment how low that table was before you addressed it and then made my head hurt with stareception.
I have to ask though, does Kingvertible cover everything? I mean, can't it also be called a DinKingvertibleNofa?
This one's kinda begging for some peel 'n stick in front of and beside the kitchen, which would also solve the lack of sidesplash.
Definitely not a fan of wet baths, but that's really nice for a wet bath. I certainly wouldn't turn my nose up at this one if someone offered it to me.

I agree with the twin beds for sure and the two burner stove. However since I think outside the box, I’d rather have no stove as I just use my electric cookers anyway. In my trailer I have my stove covered with a big cutting board space so I put my instapot or elec frying pan or toaster on it then I don’t have to have any pots or pans in the trailer! Bingo! Overall when I first seen the inside of this trailer I felt my husband and I could manage with it - we have a 25’ now that we just installed twin beds instead of the queen size but yes nice trailer!
