is the bed comfy for you now?
Very informative. Most enjoyable.
Very nice job 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
We did this mod thanks to this video! 1st thing we did..
Great to hear! Enjoy your camper!
Yes! This is exactly what I was looking for!
Thanks!

I actually just purchased a Rove Lite 16RB. Lighter, and has a 2-piece bath. Love it!
Awesome! I’ve looked at those, they are pretty great!
After you finish your project I would have liked to see you lay down to see what it looks like Head to tow
We just got the Geo Pro tb...we are going to do just as you did! Thanks for the great ideas!
Fantastic!
If I buy the TB its bc we want the twin beds. I hate having to crawl over someone just get out of bed to go pee in the middle of the night.
I really like your setup. I haven't bought mine yet but I'm really loving your setup. Keep them coming.
Thanks Mike, I always appreciate your comments!
I am seriously looking at this unit. Was thinking how to solve the bed and dining issue. What an awesome idea!
Awesome! Hope it works for you!
Ha! I have the same Pendleton blanket from Costco. Great job!!
Thanks! Our dog really loves that blanket 😂
Like the 15TB twin bed setup for me and my wife. That East to West works and our previous TT had one. But we were not fans of it. Yet i get you and great idea with the bedding clips to hold sheets. Our new current camper has a North To South. We are looking at your TT as a 2nd TT for a different excursion. Great Vid 🌅
Thanks so much for checking it out! I am sure at some point we won’t want to crawl over each other, but for now we love the smaller trailer for going down off road trails
What are the full dimensions of that space? I am 6’2” and will need all of it sleeping east / west like you are. I just need the full measurements please if you could without the side cushions. Wall to wall front to front side to side. I will be placing a queen size mattress in that space. 60x80.
We have a 15TB and honestly I don't know the exact measurements but we purchased a regular king 4" memory foam mattress and it squishes in there just fine. Honestly I think we have an extra half inch of space going east/west but it''s no noticable.
We have a new GeoPro15TB but I’m wondering how you get your photos to stay on the wall? Random question I know. We are newbies. 🤣
No problem! All we used were Command picture hanging strips! amzn.to/3BwMwVs
@@ProjectBasecamp thanks for the info and the link. 🙂
can you tell me the width of the 3 inch foam it would be 52X ? I would like to order.
I really like what you’ve done. We just bought the same trailer and would like to do a similar modification. My husband is 6’4” so I don’t think a full size bed would work. Any suggestions?
I think East/west might work, but you won’t be able to keep the side cushions in while sleeping. You would most likely have to do a queen in width but you would have very tiny seats. I think maybe a queen futon mattress would work for you so you can fold it up in a rear couch configuration during the day
My husband is 6'3" and we went with the east/west without any cushions (no side or bottom cushions) and bought a firm 4" memory foam mattress. So we have a real king bed and WE LOVE IT! My husband sleeps at the far end because he never has to get up in the middle of the night and I always do have to get up. We mainly eat outside but we also love eating inside in a "breakfast in bed" style with collapsible tray tables. Sure, ideally we would love a king bed and a permanent dining option but we don't want a big heavy trailer so the fully king option works best for my tall husband.
Two questions please. What is the total dimension of the king bed area and do you think a Toyota Highlander V6 could tow this ok? Thanks for the video, it's a great idea.
Well, you would have to check the sticker inside the door on your particular vehicle. That should show your payload and towing numbers. The bed is 80x74
Love the setup and the videos. I'm downsizing from a 30' camper to something a 4runner will pull.. How often do you wish you had something like the 19FD over the 15TB? Thanks!
So far, not at all! We like to go off-grid and off-road, and a longer camper is pretty inconvenient as far as that goes.
