I first watch this on VHS back in 1993. Nathan East's Bass solo was the reason I switch from guitar to the bass... and also because I realize I can never play the guitar like God.
This is, arguably, best version of Old Love, due to few reasons, IMHO: 1. he's still in pain about maaany things 2. this version is little beat slower then newer versions, which sounds much more sinister, and 3. He still does his solos himself - there is no keyboard solo (Chris, usually), or Andy/ Doyle solos on 2nd guitar etc. This is pure EC.

I hate all those Hendrix was better, page is better, Stevie ray Vaughn was better debates. No body else plays guitar like that but Eric Clapton. They’re all great and that was exceptional, expressive guitar playing of the top tier.
