When I was 1st yr resident in ortho I was on call straight for 8months. In india as a 1st yr ortho resident u are ON DUTY and inside the hospital, either in ward or emergency throughout your 1st yr of residency. I have done a long weekend before, so 96 hours! Same setup so we have a lot of help!
