I’m from Florida and people think there’s alligators are everywhere but you just don’t think about them. Now my son-in law is a maintenance man at an apartment complex in town and he got a call from an older lady in the middle of the night. When he got there 10 minutes at the most, she was crying and very upset he calmed her down and she finally told him what the emergency was. She had her little dog tied out on the patio and an alligator ate him. My sweet sil cleaned up her patio and took care of her even tho that was not his job.
I did wonder if she has to check the yard before letting Pheobe out. I'm in Wisconsin and we have to watch out for our dogs with coyotes, and the wolf population has really exploded the last two or so years. We have to be very careful letting dogs out at night, especially the little ones😔
I showed my husband the 3rd time I watched this video, and I wanted to share his comment when he saw the squirrel... "SHE STUFFED THE BULLY!!!!!!" The story is, that when my husband comes home from work, there is a squirrel who is busy on our front stoop gathering nuts, acorns, or rummaging through the planter under the mailbox attached to our house. When he steps out of the car on the driveway, the squirrel stands up from his activity and starts to "bark" at him. One time he walked toward my husband, who would swear that this animal was charging at him. So when he gets home from work, he spends time in his car, calling me on his cellphone to tell me he's home but it'll be a few minutes before he can come into the house because the bully is outside staring him down or is ready to attack him....... 😂

Oh Betsy...you poor hunny. I feel for you. I've had a bad back for many years...abuse i suffered as a child. Back pain has to be the worse pain ever....My prayers are with you, sweety. Please take care,and heal fast
I hurt my back and couldn't stand up very long. I watched utube and learned to crochet. God healed me in March after 3 years of my nonstop crocheting!

This is Jeanice from Shreveport, two hours from Kayla. I broke you back on the 4th of July 2021. I'm 67 and it's driving me crazy. I and still only stand for about 10 minutes before my back starts hurting. I'm getting better but very impatient. Let me know if you have any questions.
I know how back problems feel. I went to sleep thinking that I was having fusions and woke up with 2-- 4-inch rods. The doctor said it was put them in then or another surgery in 6 months. I've had them for 8 years, and still, there are times the pain wins. I pray that you heal soon and get back to what you love.
You're not alone, Kayla, I sometimes try to change the TV channel with the land-line phone or try to make a call with the remote control 🤣😂🤣

I love mysteries, etc. too. I like Midsummer Murders, Monk, Sister Boniface Mysteries, Father Brown, Vera, Poirot, The Mentalist, Columbo, Perry Mason, Murder She Wrote, Cold Case, Murdoch Mysteries, Elementary, Endeavor, Miss Marple, Rizzoli & Isles, Agatha Christie mysteries, etc.
This new color is not bright and exciting. It's a neutral which means it blends well with any other color. So, when placed next to that lovely deep green it sure pops, especially with yellow and red close by!! The contrast is gorgeous!! I really love how your wrap is turning out🥰🥰

I love hearing your stories, what a great way to crochet listening to you talking to us. I love in Florida too, but I live on the water and there are alligators in the water here in Titusville!!! Although we have a friend who lives in Florida and they have an outdoor swimming pool and one day she went out to find an alligator swimming in her pool.

I get a Hallmark Mystery channel, which I pay an extra 4.99 per month on DirecTV. I watched the Aurora Teagarden series, but the actress went to the GAC channel, so the series is done, but I watch them multiple times. They also have good detective shows in the mystery package. I love mystery, detective, and cold justice shows. I also watch On Patrol:Live on the Reelz channel Friday and Saturday nights. I love it. I'm glad we don't have alligators. Only deer, skunks, groundhogs, opossums, and once an emu tried to get in our house door. It got loose from someone's property. I love hearing you talk about yourself. Hugs 🤗😇 The hospital calls me their anomaly because I do nothing by textbook either. When I go to the ER, they look at me and say we know about you, and we have an alert in red. I just say okay.
Alligators....hilarious!! Here in West Virginia we hit deer on accident but it blows my mind that you guys hit alligators.
Yes, definitely work on both sides at the same time because it would look different with the blocks instead of stripes.....I think it is looking so nice.

I laughed that audio books make you snooze 🔉📚 = 😴. For some reason, I end up tuning them out when I'm doing a project. An hour goes by and I have no idea what happened in the book. My 🧠 just wandered down it's own dusty trail. So I start it over and ignore it again 🙄. I gave up trying long ago.

I really enjoyed When Calls The Heart too. I think I'd divide the skeins in half to do the 2 front panels so that you have the same amount each side. It will be a bit of a hassle, but the look will be worth it. 🥰Blessings from South Australia💕🐨

Your wrap is beautiful! I would count and find the middle of your wrap, crochet like you are now but just cut your thread , and start your thread again. Continue crocheting like you are now but stop, tie off,cut your yarn and start crocheting again. Hope you understand this. Please let me know when you are coming to Shreveport for a doctor's appointment.

Your ruana is looking amazing, and I love your cute squirrel! I haven't made amigurumi since my grandson wanted me to crochet all the Mario characters for him. When I was finally done, I never even wanted to look at an amigarumi again, 😂 lol

Hi Kayla, I like the way that rona is comming, If it was me I would be doing both sides the same so I would be working both sides together by crocheting with both ends, one attached to each side. That is me, I am sure you will find your own way of doing it. ❤❤❤
I never realized that you lived in same town as the Robertson's. Small world. I used to watch Duck Dynasty a long long time ago and like Si the best. I really don't think much about gators in your State but I do keep eye out for them when I've been to Florida. Have a Blessed Day

Hi Kayla. I very seldom drink tea and when I do it's got to be unsweetened but that peach tea sounds good. I did the same thing with an alligator but mine was a barely teenaged one so it was fairly small. I live in FL. That last green was dark which I don't remember it being that dark when you started it but it looks good and the tan looks good next to it also. I like you're doing the different stitches. I've tried that on my own and it didn't always work out so I'd frog it and then use another stitch that I knew would work.

I love the work your doing Kayla 💗💗 I think you should work on both sides at the same time for the front . If you have a kitchen scale you could take the weight of the yarn and divide it by 2 to get both sides even .😊💗

You can pull from the inside for one side and pull from the outside for the other, once you split. I would work one row of one side then start then one row of the other side.

I would do half a skein on both sides. Make the sides match up.

I love that squirrel!!! I started and finished a little ball for my grandson, yesterday. It is first amigrumi I have ever finished. Lol. It killed my right hand. Using a “G” hook with worsted weight yarn. I would love to do more but my hands protest! 😆. Your wrap is so pretty. I have decided to do the Sophie’s Universe CAL but I still plan on doing this wrap!

Did you say you were drinking Peach Tea? Because It actually says 'Peace Tea' ( hence the two finger peace sign) on the can and 'Mango Green Tea'. Hope you don't mind me pointing that out, but I immediately thought it looked like a picture of a mango on the tin and not a peach. Anyway it sounds really yummy and refreshing. 😊🥭
