Ah...this game was my first ever top down shooter. I remember first playing when I was in elementary school with my dad. We’d always lose on Dagmor Sigma and for the longest time, I always wondered what the fifth and final level would look like. I’d even try to imagine what the final boss would be, a giant helicopter...yeah needless to say I was way off when I finally beat the game alone. Nostalgic

I really hate how Capcom often outsource their legendary franchises to some unknown amateurish companies to handle the development. They are totally disrespecting the original creators of the games and the fans as well.
Do you play this with an arcade stick? If not, you really should look into it. I play 1943 on NES with the NES Advantage and its super fun! I even have the turbo button :)

I think some of the set pieces are pretty original, you've got to give them that, just not really on a level with something like 19XX, that one still looks insane, such a shame they outsourced the work after that one, this series was Capcom's bread and butter in the late 80's but now they seem to have little love for continuing it themselves.
Rokabur I had the Plug n' Play version of this game. I thing that version is better than the Xbox version. Sure it doesn't have the better graphics or music, but it was classic and one of the best games I ever played.
Umm, meh. This game is pretty badly made, the game is incredibly easy and has bad graphics. They all look like Roblox, but its somehow worse. You can see that there is VERY obviously a decal that is not well pasted for Bodan's cockpit glass. Any SHMUP player will instantly realize that the bullets are super easy to dodge. Strikers 1945 is definately a better game that came 12 YEARS before it

histo 93 There isn’t a PS4 version, but you can buy the PS3 version and it’ll work with your PS4. Dunno about Skyfighters.
