I got that same exact model about a year ago. I'm very happy with mine. Most affordable propane forge I could find and absolutely beats the hell out of brake drum forge in every way. Wish I'd got it years ago and skipped the coal thing entirely.
I’m about to do the same. I havnt been able to use my coal forge because I’m too scared I’m going to set my neighborhood on fire. It’s been so hot and extremely dry, and there was a brush fire not far from here last week. I’m a little on edge about using the lump charcoal because it sparks and pops a lot and when a breeze picks up it Carries them away. Propane forge it is!

Damn! That is super cheap for propane! I just bought a 13kg tank for use with my new forge (not a devil but very similar) and it cost me £40 for the tank hire and £41.50 for the fuel! And yeah, they're still left hand thread in the UK.

Not sure if i agree with laying the brick in there while the cement is still wet. Plus blue flames are not good.
I think they have you out them in to help hold the kail wools form and light blue flames are ideal dark blue has to much oxygen
