I really like the vocal chops and bass, they make it so atmospheric. Not that big a fan of the drums, they sound a bit generic, and they start a bit abruptly after the minimalistic intro. Maybe starting with the bass without the drums might've given it a better build-up for me. Still, keep up the good work, I learned a lot from this!
How does one even get into this? Is it possible to start producing music without knowing instruments? I have a good hear for music and rhythm but no musical experience whatsoever and recently discovered Fred Again which made me super interested in giving it a try
Have you thought about making genre specific bundles on your site with for example all your Melodic Techno samplepacks and presets packs and do the same for House and Future Rave, i think it would be great if i could buy all packs from one genre in 1 bundle 😀 THX and please keep up the great work 😀
is there a law on sampling? ie copyright etc. even though you're going to be twisting the sample to make it your own sound, love your channel so informative and easy to follow, you have a fan as a new user to fl studio
Copyright laws can allow somebody to sue you without their permission, but if you flip a sample well enough and don't disclose the origin, it should be fine. I have a dubstep song on my Spotify with Ellie Gouldings Vox (Magic Stones), it's one word; 'love', but I'm too small as a producer to get sued. Plus Calvin did make the vox available on his soundcloud ages ago. Idk if it was intended for him to get remixes or bootlegs.
The best sampler imo got to be Scrim for $uicideboy$. So many of the beats he produces are works of art. I wish more producers would sample like Fred Again and Scrim but I understand how annoying it must be to sample something that's copyrighted
We want you to do some stock FL full arrangements, like full hip hop beat or full trap beat, so that we can practice pausing the video, rewinding the video etc and watch everything you do.Will help your watch time increase a lot
