This song is a grower. It needs Saiki hitting those notes to be a great song, and she's definitely getting there. Sounds really good. Instrumentallly super fun, too. My first reaction to the song when I heard it in November was "too crazy and too busy". Almost commercial and yet not commercial at all. My mind was all messed up on the first listen, but it's actually Good!

I agree. It's a more "commercial" song that can attract a younger audience who are fans of pop songs (I was going to write po 🤣). Maybe less the Band-Maid fanbase. But it doesn't matter, their number of subs has been increasing rapidly for two months. Thanks Ryan.
It's one of those crazy ones. When I first listened to the song I didn't think much of the song either, especially with Saiki pushing high notes. It was like watching the few live Sayonakidori performance by Miku. But Saiki's obviously getting more comfortable with those high notes, and that's what elevates the song. Over the few years I realised that the excellent song writing isn't enough to make a great song. Saiki's performance could make or break the song. When Shambles came out I didn't appreciate it that much, same with endless story, Unleash, etc. It was always Saiki's live vocal performance that elevated the music, at least to me it is.

Of the three songs they unveiled live last year, this was my favorite, although most disagree with me.
