as someone that lives in France with a similar size kitchen, the size of the fridge is absolutely a choice, she has plenty of room to have a bigger fridge/freezer, they make them with the same width as the one she has that can go to her height or even up to 200cm, she chose (or the landlord chose) a fridge that small because maybe she's in a situation where she has the time and can buy things fresh everyday, not everyone here in France is like this, there are MANY of us that only go shopping once a week 'cause that's all the time we have and we tend to like bigger fridges, we don't have much space usually either, so we buy fridges that go UP, like really up, lol
The apartment is beautifully done but omg…the prices. I never understood why people live in Paris, London, NYC, unless they are tied there by a job.😯 2500 euro a month for 50 sqm is obscene and I’m not being critical of you but of the real estate market being insane.
Yes, totally! Things are very expensive in big cities and you always need to account not only for rent but also utilities, and any kind of fees that come with the place! On my side I do enjoy the opportunities that come with living in a big city, but I of course don't like the price haha
€2500 a month is very cheap compared to staying at the Ritz Hotel in Place Vendome which cost on average €2500 a night for a 50 sq. metre apartment depending on the season. Summer is a lot more expensive and winter is less expensive. I wonder how Coco Chanel managed to stay at the Ritz Paris in her suite for decades without going bankrupt.
This honestly doesn’t seem that expensive to me! I pay a little less, but I probably have a bit more space (albeit, it a one-bedroom apartment … but the living room and dining room are separate, the kitchen is huge, and I have two walk-in closets in addition to a linen closet and a coat closet), and I have huge windows with light exposure to the east, west, and north, in a beautiful vintage courtyard building, and the best part is: I’m just twelve blocks north of the Chicago city limit, in a lovely college town which used to be a streetcar city - meaning that, unlike a typical U.S. suburb, it’s got mixed-use zoning, so all sorts of things are a short walk from me; between one and eight blocks away there are bookshops, a guitar shop, cafés, restaurants, repair shops, both resale and new clothing shops, multiple groceries, health food stores … and I’m half a block away from two major bus lines, and just three blocks from the el, our equivalent to the Metro. Which is really what I chimed in to say … someone asked why people pay more to live in (or right next to) the world’s major metropolises, and it’s this: on any given day, I can decide spontaneously “Oh, I’d like to see a Marc Chagall stained glass window!” and I can get dressed, have breakfast at the diner around the corner from me, walk five minutes to the el, pay $2.25, and 45 minutes later I can be at the Art Institute standing in front of _America Windows_ (1977) - then I can take the pedway to the French Market, pick up some cheese and fruit and baguettes, take those to the lakefront and have a picnic with friends, catch a free Chicago Symphony Orchestra concert at the Pritzker Pavilion with them, take the el a few miles north to have a late dinner at my favorite Ethiopian restaurant, walk over to catch a midnight comedy show at the Neo-Futurarium, grab a bus and get drinks at the Green Mill at 2 a.m. to catch the pickup jazz improv show which visiting musicians put on there after their headlining engagements elsewhere in town, and then ride the el back north and walk the three blocks back home … and I could do all this, or something quite like it, every day of the year if I want!! Or I can just walk around watching people, that’s always fun. Sure, living here costs a little more … but what would I do with an eight-bedroom McMansion out in the middle of nowhere? Plus salaries are much higher in these cities, so it actually balances out. I was born and raised in a metropolis, my whole family are city-dwellers, I’ve always lived in or near a metropolis … and I will sing the praises of city life forever!! 🤗❤️🗽
I like the name Maurice (Chevalier) for a boyfriend. I was in Paris once, but became bored with the old buildings, and left. As tourist one has to know where the shops are.
How did you find your apartment? Is there an online website to search apartments full furnished. I like its modern and very cozy. I plan on moving to France and would like to find an 1 bd apartment. Great video!
I watched all your Paris videos, you have such a wonderful smile and great humor :) I have a question - if you are hosting friends in the second bedroom, where does your boyfriend work? In the living room?
Wow Lucille u and Bobby have a really nice place love ❤️ it . Good price for the apartment I hope u and Bobby have a wonderful holiday and everything like that cherish what u have because it can be gone in a flash . My girlfriend sara died 😢 😔 last Sept 1 2022 I don't know if I told u that before or not but she was 30 well again happy for u so much I hope all your dreams come true . Love ❤️ as always your friend jamie 🎉 😊
I’m so confused with the layouts of these two bedroom 500sqft apartments.. I just can’t seem to picture the sq footage of each common space or bedrooms… But I love how minimalist your place is, I aspire to get to this level.
I love your space, it looks really nice to live in! Are you in an Haussmann building, by any chance? Would it be too forward to ask in what arrondissement you live? For Paris, your rent is surprisingly reasonable!
Hi I've just discovered your channel. I love your apartment! I am impressed you sound like someone who had English as a first language. I am also French speaker and speak English but my French accent can't be hide hehehehe, I should maybe train the pronounciation more, and it would change. But as long as people get me...... ;-)
Hi I am moving to Paris in April and I love your apartment. Could you share how you found your place. Which arrondisement are you in, is it possible to get sth similar
excuse moi Lucile, j'aimerais savoir comment t'as fait pour pouvoir emménager sans CDI ?? très dur de trouver un logement dans Paris quand t'as pas les garanties.
Beautiful! I’m sold🤪Get rid of your boyfriend. I’m a little older, overweight, unemployed and most of all tired to live with my parents. What’s the address? Btw send me a flight ticket to Paris 🤗😘🇫🇷🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This flat is so gorgeous! Considering it is fully furnished and it's new the cost is very reasonable.

Beautiful place! Love how it's simple yet nice and cozy and modern. Congrats again to you both,Lucile!
Thank you so much :D
I love minimalism. simple is easy. less is more. Nice apartment.
Love this apt. and the furnishings. You are right the bedroom is amazing. I could live there without changing anything.
Love yall's apartment! Very cool and efficient!
Thank you so much :D
Such a beautiful space! Love it!
Negan will be so proud watching this!
Super cute and cozy! Thanks for including the prices as I'm trying to gauge whether or not I can afford to live in the city with my kids.
Its positively grand! A very lovely apartment but not really tiny. Ive seen tiny apartments in Paris...
For 540 sq.f it looks way bigger. For the price in Paris, sounds like you hit the apartment jackpot.
I'm so happy about it! :)
Luciles channel Is just all in all fun to watch

Place Vendome - That's like the "Beverly Hills" of Paris.
She has lofi vibes.
We have the best apartment ❤
That's not a small apartment, approximately how much would that apartment cost?
The apartment is very nice and I love the furniture.
I like the name Maurice (Chevalier) for a boyfriend. I was in Paris once, but became bored with the old buildings, and left. As tourist one has to know where the shops are.
From the USA. Your aprtment is wonderful. I could see myself living there. I would never have thought of the 11th arrondessment.
Well done!
Your videos makes me want to go back to my best dream home on Rue Mstislav Rostropovitch. I'm currently in the U.S. to be with family.
If a Totoro is there , it is a home ;) lovely place and big for a flat in Paris.

Could you make a video on what takes to rent an apartment in Paris. Income or living status verification for example

Thank you so much :) and it's normal: Paris apartments are quite old (19th century buildings) so layouts tend to be very unique!
Nice video!!

Thanks for watching :)
Love your cozy apartment but it seems expensive to me...I thought San Diego had high prices?
Do you like Lee Child's books ? ( Jack Reacher )
I would love to live in france
You should try it, France is waiting for you haha :)
These are Los Angeles prices. A beautiful space nonetheless!

Microwaves need ventilation from the top , just in case you don’t know
€2500 all in is very good value for the Location, compared to London. And the quality is much better. London rentals are generally awful.
Can you drink water out of the tap?
🙂👍
what's your English level.Lucile? C2 ? Great apartment,by the way )
beautiful like you...
