2 that are crushing it for me are MTDR and ET both I started buying into back in 2018. Spring 2020 both tanked and kept buying bought over 8k shares of MTDR below $2 and that has been my largest win that now pays a dividend. I am slowly rebalancing. ET with it being a MLP my CPA has said gives me quite a few years to not have to pay tax on distributions.

Question: once you purchase a stock and decide to choose the option to DRIP, are you able to amend that later on to choose to receive the dividend payment as cash instead of reinvesting?

Yes - you have the ability to update/toggle the DRIP option on/off on most investing platforms

Is your strategy different from investing in a fund like the dividend aristocrats? Isn’t it less leg work on your end to use a fund comprised of increasing dividend payouts?

@@collegeri the strategy is to reinvest to enjoy the benefit of the dividends compounding over time. However, I asked if it’s optional in the event I needed the income from dividends paid to me in cash for a few months (like put on pause) for some unforeseen circumstance or perhaps to help fund a vacation and then put DRIP back on to continue to reinvest.

Way too many holdings. You are a mutual fund. You should be selling all those losers, and putting it into the ones at highs. Look at how much those are costing you!!
