    In SCCA P1 we would get a whole weekend out of Hoosier 35 compound tire after track heat cycling. Many racers don't, but they have the money to run a fresh set every race.

      No. Not at all. It will allow them to last longer and have more consistent performance as they go through heat cycles ( sessions on track )

    Thanks a lot man. Very clearly. I’m gonna do it. One question. How much you pay at the shop for installing them? They are adding a bunch of stuff I don’t know if I’m getting ripped off or what. Thx

      Usually $200-$300 for mounting balance and disposal

      Mounting, Balancing & new Valve Stem for $20 per tire. Go to a Mexican owned Tire Shop.

      Also, heat treating evaporates the greasy release agents in the rubber left over from manufacturing. A new tire feels very greasy the first few laps.@@the_track_enthusiast
