- Hello friends!
I'm excited to finally share with you all my very first few spreads in my 2023 Hobonichi A6 English planner. I'm so excited to finally have a spot to enjoy all of the Simply Gilded Stickers and Washi Tape that I collected in 2022. I'm hoping to use this planner as a less intimidating replacement for my Hobonichi Cousin from 2022. With the lack of weekly spreads and smaller daily pages, I hope that I will have a easier time keeping up with journaling and memory keeping in 2023.

- portable printers.... I have "problems" with HP Sprocket colors... not enough range and they come out more washed out. SO far my go-to printer has been Canon Pixma. it's easy to use their app (or can do other apps) to create collage and compilation of images that will fit on 4x6 paper. Then I cut them to use in hobonichi, journal or for wallet. The downs are - it's bigger than sprocket and I have yet to find paper with the sticky back.
I have the Kodak instep. It's 3x5 sticker photos. But it has a collage feature to where you can print several photos and just cut them.
My mom used to get a mild sedative from the vet for our dog on July 4th because they also terrified her. Poor pup!
We have cats now and they don’t go outside. They don’t like the noise either!

I started an insert for my Traveler's Notebook last year that was dedicated to packaging pieces and scraps that I didn't have room for on my dailies in my Hobonichi. I would put a little sentence or two with the layouts I did for the packaging. I found it really fun and flipping through it makes me smile from the memories, and it was pressure free since it wasn't dated or anything. I hope that makes sense and helps give you an idea of what to do with the things like the Simply Gilded boxes you were talking about.
Hi Katie! Love the long videos, they entertain me when I have lots of downtime at work and when I can’t sleep. Just received my Stationery Pal order of Sarasa Pens. And I got some Vintage and Paris theme stickers for my new Hobo. Weeks Mega…I was set on travel theme with Paris focus…my future dream destination. I love the Tomoe Paper and want a Techo or Cousin for next year also. I will get dupes first to test out the size…looking for the Train Travelers Notebook still…I discovered everything late last year. I got old world style map stickers in globe shapes mostly from an Etsy seller. I’m trying to limit myself to only 3 planners so far…and I want to start a washi collection but I don’t want to get stuck with ones I won’t use. Haha! I love macaroons! That’s one reason I want to go to Paris. I’m learning how to make them. Maybe one day when you have a P.O. Box for RUclips I will send you some if they turn out well. Keep up the great work! I started 2023 in a Hobonichi Cousin but realized that after using a Stalogy A6 for several weeks and loving it to switch things up. So, I ordered a Hobonichi A6 Techo and will use it as my daily planner along with my Hobonichi Weeks as my EDC. The 2023 Cousin will now be my art journal/commonplace/memory keeping journal.
how will you use the weeklies with the hours?
The PhotoGrid app might allow you to print different sizes on one sheet. I use CVS or Walgreens to print. Super inexpensive and decent quality for planners/journals!
