Ha! I was at the same sales this weekend. Early Bird Estate Sales are almost always overpriced! I think she does it to keep things for her own thrift shop! Those trains were still there late Sunday.
bottom feeders fighting for scraps
@@brentamania89yeah. Her "stop", makes sense.
The cactus is genius, put the scrubber in, and turn it towards the wall, great decoration for bathroom.
That was so funny!
I did the same thing at a church sale. It was a vintage ceramic cow and I just thought it was either a planter or something cool. I looked it up when I got home and found out it was to hold a plunger or toilet brush 😂 It ended up selling for over $60!
Owned the same gap jacket, it's actually from the 90's and the product line of the jacket was called GAP 1969, I bought this jacket with my dad for the start of high school, I thought I looked so bad ass, the jacket was way too warm for the early autumn, I remember always sweating balls just to look good.
thanks for the info!
Wow, that house had almost as many jigsaw puzzles as I do. I probably would have bought a few if I were there.
I think that toilet brush holder would make a GREAT planter.
Or a great toilet brush holder.
I love the Catus holder - I would never had guess it was a toilet brush holder. I love the new jukebox. Great finds
Way to go, John! Smoothest picker around. Fill that dang IKEA bag!
That Ceramic Cactus was the Shit man........... LMAO
2:05🇺🇲Hawaii🤙
Batmobile is missing the canopy
That cactus could be a door stop too.
Barneys plush u missed it
Sometimes it doesn’t matter what I’m watching as long as I can hear the IKEA bag .. lol
😂
I hardly go to estate sales anymore they are way overpriced out here in Cali :( a lot of the people running them own there own stores and anything left from the estate sale gets to go to the people running it. Unfortunately I feel they hike up the prices a little for there stores. Great video like always 👍🏼😊
I've never understood this, and still think it's more urban legend. Are there really that many people out there signing contracts with estate sale companies that give them everything that doesn't sell from the Estate Sale? "Please, try to sell my entire estate and what doesn't sell you get to keep for free."???
@@jkhoover yes unfortunately I’ve talked to 3 people that hired estate companies to come in and they said they get to keep whatever is left over. I think it happens more then not these days. I remember 10-15 years ago u could go to estate sales and get things for cheap! Now there’s pictures of items on eBay showing what it’s going for and there asking that price.
So how’s the toilet brush holder market doing these days 😂
📈📈📈
Some really nice things you got there, the spirit of saint louis stuff is nice. I have had some things of them, its pretty plasticy but i think the electronical quality is good since that stuff came out in the mid 90s. Also you should have bought the 8 track player and the vintage receiver, they go for 100 dollars each at least. To bad the lionel train was to expencive, it was a cool looking set.
Thought the cactus was a candle holder....would be cool if it casted a dancing cactus shadow
Sure do miss your whatnot shows man! Hope all is well!
I had that batmobile when I was a kid
Hi,,,I was wondering when you sell the puzzles how do you package them up where it doesn’t cost a fortune?
Good Stuff!
They really loved their puzzles, they had them plastered all over the basement. I think your (ahem) "planter" is adorable. Are you still working out of the old house/office and with your BIL? We don't get to see enough of you these days.
I’ll be switching spaces soon. BIL is focusing on guitar lessons these days
FYI That Batmobile is missing its windshield, so probably only worth in the $20 range if it cleans up. If it had the windshield it would probably be in the $30 to $40 range.
Good catch, thanks for the heads up!
Was that $50 for a VHS rewinder?!
Yup!
@@cincinnatipicker What is the going rate for those nowadays?
@@cincinnatipicker Was there $51 stuffed inside? 😀
that jacket def had some substances in those pockets back in the day 😆
Id pay 40$ to not clean and sell the cactus
Love the Ikea bag ASMR
I guess you still have some of time for this. I would have thought you might of taken off in the real estate business since you've got your license. Real estate seems pretty hot these days and your personality makes for a great salesman.
Is there a market for sealed puzzles?
Depending on the puzzle, yes
I remember when people were buying them left and right during the pandemic
@@MakeupandDance. all I know is that my mom goes nuts for them and some are expensive.
“WHERE YOU GOING?!!” Rude! Have a sale all over the house then yell at someone when they go down a hallway. SMH.
Who types SMH? Grow up. Maybe go back to school. Don't judge people. It's not your house.
She probably had stuff stashed to pull out later.
I would like to buy the cactus from you if you decide to sell it local. I live in Northern Kentucky
I will happily give it to you for free 👍 shoot me an email: cincinnatipicker@gmail.com
Have you sold a house yet? Do you have a separate real estate channel ?
No separate channel, still waiting on my first sale
Awesome
Where are you going? 😂 Put signs up say nothing down here
👍👍
👍👍👍👍👍👍
What ever happened to the raccoons??
Not sure, I haven’t seen them in ages!
You left Barney and Charlie 😮
Oh dang! You’re right!
Unless you really know about model trains stay away from model trains
I’ve sold a number of them over the years but most of what I find is the cheap plastic stuff
