I have always wanted to see a huge ship entering or leaving the Gulf coming through the mighty Mississippi. Or even over in Virginia, coming from the Atlantic Ocean, enter Chesapeake Bay. Or any other water inlets to or from the USA. Even at 55 years old I still have an explorers spirit. I love those videos from the north where you can see the midnight sun. Or in winter the sun barely comes up over the horizon. Earth is still an amazing place to live and see.
@@tomasmedek23 99 miles from New Orleans to the Gulf? Damn would have never guessed that. I bet that is fun to be on a cruise ship on a river. Or at least something to say you have done.
@@beebeesfuntasticadventures6110 WOW you are on the river for 6 hours? I would have never thought it was that far up river to Orleans. And yes it is amazing.
Best video of New Orleans Mississippi River departure! Thank you.
Wow! I have been on this cruise 6 times and never realized we go down the Mississippi for 110 miles before turning out to the gulf.
A view of New Orleans skyline that I’ve never seen before @1:18 the way the river whips around and faces it at that point is pretty cool
This is fr crazy, I lived on the Mississippi my whole life and this video makes it look wayyy smaller than it is in real life

Thanks for this video. I am taking this cruise on the end of Sept. Always wondered how it was leaving from N.O
Nighttime falls. And you still have not fully exited the gulf into the ocean, as land is still on both sides.
Interesting video thanks for uploading.
