    Thanks for taking the time to share!
    Just purchased a 2023 Kia Sorento SX Prestige AWD for the following: (1) 2nd row Captain’s chairs in order to optimize versatility of movement, (2) additional legroom in the 2nd row in comparison to similarly sized SUVs, (3) lifetime powertrain limited warranty, (4) blindspot safety features and (5) positive expert reviews!
    All the best!

      We just bought a 2023 Sorento EX for my wife. She preferred the smaller size of the Sorento compared to the Telluride. I don’t think the 2.5 turbocharged engine is available in the Telluride and it will out run any V6 I’ve seen. It’s wolf gray with black interior.

    Two things I want to tell the KIA engineers - 1) you have USB's all over the car EXCEPT near the rearview mirror where the UVO area is - It would be nice to be able to plug a dashcam in without having to run a cable all over the place. 2) Make the door pockets may 1/2 wider - they are so narrow basically nothing fits in there as far a bottle or can.

    Engine and Transmission Blew After 7 Months
    Bought a brand-new 2023 Kia SPORTAGE. My Sportage broke after 7 months. The car is covered under warranty, but my car has been at the dealer for over 16 days and the parts have not even been ordered yet. They gave me a tiny car that my mother and brother cannot even fit into. I asked to have my payment waved until the Sportage was fixed, but they told me they could not do anything. After explaining that they did not give me a comparable rental car they sent me to another member of customer service who told me they could not do anything. I spent two hours on the phone today and nothing was resolved. They keep telling me they don't know how long it will be until it's fixed. In the meantime, I am trying to move four hours away and am waiting on my Sportage to move my last items. I’m hoping that the t will be ready before my apartment lease ends, or I will need to spend more money out of pocket to rent a moving van. They keep blowing me off when I ask to be reimbursed for the tow truck. Be careful before considering a Kia. Their cars don’t seem to be built to last.

    When the 2021 year model came out I got the sx prestige xline and me and my family loved it. It’s so good looking and sporty and that torque it brings makes it feel like it just goes and since it’s not super big it doesn’t feel big and heavy when driving but because it is 6 seats (top trim) and if you want to use all seats you have no trunk space and I could barely fit a stroller so with a family of 5 and 1 being a baby it started feeling too small. I would recommend this more for s family of 4 so you all will fit perfectly without needing the 3rd row and having all that cargo space and having those extra 2 seats when needed for family. You will love it.

      @@Jose_cab I’ve heard mixed owners reviews from Kia owners. It seems the Tellurides and K5’s are the most troublesome, same with the Hyundai Palisades and Santa Fe’s

    • @Jose_cab
      @Jose_cab Год назад +2

      @@barbz_zayne yeah I’ve heard these things as well but idk never seen it or had to deal with it but all car brands have problems and it just depends what it is really. Like when they talked a lot about some Kia and Hyundai SUVs having trouble with the tow hitch or something with the towing thing and people were making a big thing about it because it was said it could burn down but then it was also true that it was the thing the dealers add or something like that and that no cars actually ever burned down and you just had to take it and it was easy fix. Now yeah they had to change a lot and cost money because everything cost them money but some people blew it up and some might have played it down but I like Kia/Hyundai and I actually traded my 2021 Kia Sorento for the new 2023 Hyundai palisade calligraphy and so far we love it and hope it don’t give me no trouble or at least big thing troubles but only time will tell. It’s good that you are checking and trying to find out before buying something. Good luck and if the palisade gives me trouble I will comment back. ✌️

    • @barbz_zayne
      @barbz_zayne Год назад +1

      @@Jose_cab I love Palisades it’s just what I’ve heard about them that makes me weary of them. It’s one of my top 3 midsizers, especially the Calligraphy with its heated 3rd row seats (?!). I’ve just seen videos where someone in a Telluride, which has the same engine as a Palisade, have hit something like a deer and it’ll light the whole car up in flames. I really like the 2023 Honda Pilot Touring and 2023 Ford Explorer ST-Line, they’re super nice and I’d have to choose between those two if I was buying in that segment. But I have a 2021 Honda CR-V and I LOVE it. It suits all my needs with absolute perfection. Hopefully it’ll last me a long long time 😁

What I would change in the 2023 is the Bluetooth capability like you were talking about, make a 2 Row with bench seat option for someone like me who has no need for a 3rd row, and I don’t like the wood trim in a dark interior unless the wood trim is dark as well. Also, I don’t like the light interior on the upper part of the interior, especially if all the rest of the interior is dark.

      You can get a bench seat (seven passengers), it's just not common so would need to order or ask the dealership to locate and request a trade. The wood trim with the black interior actually doesn't look like wood really, more like wood mixed with carbon fiber. It was more woody looking with the peanut butter/rust interior. I just leased one and was looking at grey interior to avoid the wood, but looked at all and ended up with the black as it wasn't wood looking. I got the X-Line SX Prestige in Ebony Black and it looks so nice. I also keep the 3rd row down.

      I understand what you’re saying, however, I have this same vehicle, even the WOLF GRAY, which I love, but having a 3rd row seat does NOT take any room away from the first or 2nd row seating, and it is standard! I drove 6 family members to dinner one evening in TAMPA, very comfortable . Of course, the front and 2nd row seating are CAPTANS CHAIRS, all adjustable backrest as well as sliding forward and backward.. I would prefer sitting in the 2nd row CAPTAINS CHAIRS , but I’m usually driving. My adult niece sitting in the 3rd row with her sister, told me her ACURA 3rd row seating is NOT as comfortable as my SORENTO. So I don’t understand why anybody would rather DELETE the 3rd row seating. There is no disadvantage to having the 3rd row, to the contrary, it’s very advantageous.

    At $35K or under, you can drive this until the typical HyunKia quality shows up and dump it without losing too much money. However above that price it makes less sense, and maxed out at $43K you are nuts to buy this. Just spend another $35K and get an entry level Range Rover Sport. Believe me, even the clips holding the undertray on a RR will be of so much higher quality than what you'll see on any HyunKia, you'll sit in amazement in your garage for hours just looking at it. Overpaying for HyunKia products is madness; you are buying cars built to sell profitably at $30K, with "features" that push the price to $45K. When you buy a base RR you are buying a vehicle built to sell profitably at $80K-----that $50K difference in material quality is massive and pervasive. Even the hose clamps on a RR will be 10x the quality on even the most expensive HyunKia. Its just another $35K; most of you can stretch to get an $80K car if you can afford a $50K one.

      The new RR Sport is sexy, but asking people to cross shop a ~$40k Kia against a vehicle that’s like 80% more isn’t realistic. Range Rovers also don’t have a track record of good reliability either, so that has to be factored in. Doesn’t matter how quality a car feels, or how good it looks if it’s known to have issues that tend to take days/weeks to get resolved in the shop.

      What are you smoking the average person struggles to make payments on average vehicles and the 25k vehicles of just a few years ago are pushing 50k that used to buy you a 1bdrm condo now buy a "ok" vehicle and your implying a majority can double it up to 80k vehicles. Your smoking something illegal

      lol, Range Rover's suck!!
      If you like spending your time getting your car serviced then by all means buy a POS Range Rover.

      Land Rover is consistently ranked at the bottom for reliability and cost of ownership. Hyundai and Kia are usually in the top half. And there’s a big difference between $45k and $80k for a car.

      한국인도 비싼 돈 주고 레인지로버를 많이 삽니다만, 주로 그들은 수리받으러 갈때 운전하거나 수리받고 집으로 돌아가는 길에 운전하다가 유턴을 합니다.
