Had many as a kid in the late 70’s bought my last 72 for $800.00 is Chester, Pa in 1983, remember yankin the 302 and putting a 351c in it and adding the scooped hood, then bought another for my dad. Those were the days, cut my teeth in on Ford Torino’s, I miss them all, my 70 convertible, my 71 fastback GT 351 4V 4 speed, my 72 Sport Fastback, my 73 country squire Wagon. Some of my best memories in those cars, drag racing in Cecil County MD., Front Street in Philly PA., Wildwood NJ. Etc. If I only had the cars I took for granted today! Where has the time gone…
1972 Gran Torino Brougham 2 door is a very rare car. The Brougham trim level is even hard to find in its 4 door configuration in its day let alone a 2 door.
In your vids PLEASE PLEASE TEST DRIVE it with driver point of view so we can hear the muscle of that car along with any potential issues with headliner/drifting to right or left/working gauges, etc. Beautiful car! Man oh Man!
My grandpa has a 72 Ford Torino Coupe and it was a launch production and I'm pretty sure only 3,000 of that Coupe type was made before they switched the coupe type my grandpa's is also two doors but he has three cars all the same type
I owned one, green in color, but as I was stopped at a traffic light in Mt. Pleasant, MI I 1976, a speeding female driver smash into the rear of my car, and totaled it.

Nice. As much as I dislike convertibles and vinyl tops, I would definitely like to have that beauty.
