    Brother dont sell yourself short, that system looks way better than whatever alot of us was doing back in the day...all we cared about was getting it playing and then deal with all the aesthetics later lol...looks clean and you did your homework...150amp alt with an extra battery was a good foundation for a powerful SQL system back in the day...good component choices too ❤️❤️❤️

    damn you started with 2000w. i started with 500 thinking my setup was up there lol. i had an earthquake magma wired to a jl slash 500/1 then upgraded the magma to a 12w7 when i blew the sub. i also see that greddy decal and type s bov, i didnt think you were into jdm stuff, thats dope

    We all started somewhere and that setup is nothing to be upset about. If that's was was your first go at it ,not bad in my opinion. I find those 2.5 mf capacitor are useless if you have upgraded your alt and have battery bank in the rear near the amplifiers,.Nice build for today's standards

    Wete those the subs in the world record vehicle back than. I went from alpine and kicker solobaric in high school. And 12 years ago I went big with ma audio 802sx. Hardkore series. The amp was actually good but power hungry and did 4000 rms maybe.. on orion hcca 12s silver bronze cones.. when dei just bought the company. Iso cool the subs were field r reconable. Similar to a solo x. That was when kinstik batteries just came out and you seen the monster everywhere lol. I went to carwSh and water got into my amp and burnt it. I was crushed do I researched and found a company name sundown audio. Nobody ever heard of them and I bought a saz 3500.1 and my orion hcca subs came alive lol. Goid stuff.

    Man what happened to the premier line I don't think you can get any sub from pioneer that's over 600rms nowadays. I had 2 of the ts-w3004spl 12s a long time ago I loved those subs I wish I still had em.

    Just out of curiosity, which would be better:
    A 2 ohm amp running a 4 ohm sub at 2ohms
    or
    a 2 ohm amp running a 2 ohm sub at 4 ohms?
    (assuming in this case that RMS and cost of the 2 subs are the same)

    • @rowboyto156
      @rowboyto156 3 года назад +1

      running 2ohms will be louder than 4ohms. people who mostly run 4ohms have sq setups for flat bass response. they also say that it has a better damping factor and its easy on your electrical

    • @RAW_Reality
      @RAW_Reality 3 года назад

      @@rowboyto156 I guess why that doesn't "make sense" to me is effectively you're getting more volume from a "worse" sub or be getting less sq from a "better" sub... Yeah, I know that running multiple subs rectifies that, but I'm only wanting to run one, so it's like 🥴🤷🏻‍♂️

    • @NextLevelCarAudio
      @NextLevelCarAudio  3 года назад

      Yeah, if your going for loud and max SPL wire low and Back out with proper electrical. SQ, then go 4ohm that will give you better SNR in most cases, but less power for the money
