Lol Danie Rossouw is on the bench - that's just how good the Bulls team was back then And honestly Fourie du Preez for me is the best scrumhalf the world has ever seen. At the very least in the top 3 of all time
I met Fourie once at a wedding venue .l was barman. He is such a humble man. No big headed attitude. Just a normal guy. Met Joost on an accident scene as a police official. He was walking around there like he's the man. But l still go with Joost as no 1. But Fourie is an all time great as well.
@@pieterniemandt1098 Although Joost had more individual brilliance, du Preez always put the team first and du Preez's tactictal game back then made a lot of difference in winning or losing games. Therefore I agree on Fourie du Preez being the greatest scrumhalf ever played for thr boks.
One of the best south african displays i've seen as a kiwi, not a single opportunity missed, absolutely waterboarded the chiefs. Better times, I hope SA can return to super rugby one day.
Any team from across the History of rugby, and I mean the Best teams of all time, all of them… none would’ve had a different fate if they met the Bulls that day. Probably the most complete game of rugby any team has ever played. They could not be stopped and they were so effective in everything they did. They even gave them two tries as a show of respect 😂 No matter who; even on their best day, wouldn’t have been able to handle the Bulls that day. Absolute dominance in every area! And the scary thing was, they were unstoppable the whole season and it all culminated and came together that day,in a way, that in my humble opinion, would not have been beaten by the best ever All Black team, in fact, the AB’s would’ve walked off battered and bruised. The Bulls were in that kinda mood that day. Give it Horns Pappaaaa 😂
penkop2012 Was robbed of the international player of the year award that year because of their "If a South African is the best give it to a New Zealander who never featured against SA in that year" policy as seen with Mccaw that year (All Blacks lost all their games vs SA) and last year when SA also beat them and Duane should have won.
4:47 "Questions around the offside line there but maybe the ball was out" Umm, the acting scrumhalf picked up the ball behind the 22 when Spies was in front of the 22.
The same year SA beat the All Blacks thrice!!! Just proves how important provincial structures and results are.
I'm no bulls fan but they were absolutely a truelly great team In those days
We still are but struggling a bit, but we got such a great team again

Wow what a game, what a team! The dream Bulls Team! No team in the world would have beaten them that evening! Epic game! 👍🏉👏🇿🇦
Yes not even the British Lions or the All Blacks maybe.

Watching back in 2023 makes me miss the old days of hard rugby
Back when Springboks rugby was great. Some crazy skilled players in Bulls. Habana at his peak, so beautiful to see.
Watched this after the Springboks won the 2019 Rugby World Cup mate.
And again after 2023 🔥
Bulls were immense all night, no team in the world could have lived with them that night
Was the best Blue Bulls team ever. Just sad that they play so bad over the couple of years after so many good players left the squad :/
Ww catching up again atleast
What a team unbeatable those years and will be unstoppable again as they have proven with Jake White recently go BULLS 😁👍
Bulls were terrifying.
A truly magnificent team.

DUPREEZ was a beast here!
Who was Man of the Match that day? I would not be surprised if it was du Preez.
if there was a boxing fight they would've stopped it very early.
Why did Habana run to the dead ball line before he dotted down? Is it being windgat?
No it's because he can and you being a sensitive idiot about it.
wow at 3:15 he throws the ball for three seconds and catches it
While I’m mad the Bulls stole our glory (Sharks) in 2007 I’m glad they won here
It was cold that evening
Glory days
fuck yes man bulls had a solid team back then
fourie du preez general

Best ever!!!!! by a mile!
We gifted them all the intercepts
2009 Bulls vs 2022 Crusaders, who will win?
2009-2010 Bulls will find a way! Morras with the drop goal magic💥
@@ruanbouwer3746 have to be the bulls, to much fire power
Wow! Damn the lions should be afraid... very afraid! They're gonna get bullied!
@@hugohugo8262 they were referring to the British and Irish lions who toured SA that year.
Wow, to stumble upon this comment after Steyn has kicked the Boks to another Lions victory 12 years later!

wow, things look bad for the lions.
The Battle of Loftus was a few weeks later - one of the greatest test matches ever played
1:05 Forward pass
