This little guy is really doing well. A real contrast to a lot of little kid recitals where they dress up in fluff and dazzle and make small stabs at any choreography they might've known before they saw a stage. They are entertaining and often very funny, but Wow! what a difference from the ones who are really taught and can perform. Kudos!
I can't believe he got it right. He'll be a champion one day if he learns at this rate at such a young age. Good luck to him. St. pats was my first set dance too. Can't get over the clarity in his shuffles & his ability to pick up the rhythm. It's not easy as its so slow that you have to be really controlled & know your timing, especially with the opening. Nice one little lad!
Absolutely stunning. From the dates on here I imagine your brother must be around 8 now. I do hope he's kept up the dancing. Such a talented lad. His timing for this beautiful dance (and tune) is just wonderful. As far as I'm concerned, he now owns both the music and the dance. I've never seen it done so beautifully (and I've seen it done thousands of times over the years). Good on you for sharing this. Thanks.
Oh gosh, he is such a cute little dancer! He's going to be brilliant when he's older. That look on his face when the music starts, it was just priceless. My 6 year old brother just started Irish dancing, and he's loving it so far. I've been doing it for about a year now, and we're learning how to do St. Patrick's day at the moment.
