If your app is published, then the version people download should be requesting normal, production ads. That's fine. When you're coding an update to your app, *you* should make sure you use test ads on your device. You can use either of the methods mentioned in the video to do so, and it's fine for your regular users to still see production ads in the live, published version of your app during that time.

I think it would actually speed up society and video processing if google did away with the ads. Yes I know I can use a ad blocker or program my own computer to get only certain data. People also advertise in the videos they post, maybe you should make it more of a requirement to post contact information about the product and where to buy it and how.
