Hi guys, the "12" is a nod to the Seattle Seahawks as Duff is from Washington and he is a big American Football fan. The 12th man is the crowd cheering. Somethin like that.
Love the Rocket Queen intro! Remember I had a cassette copy of Appetite for Destruction and the tape was not long enough so never knew Rocket Queen was there until I saved up and bought a legit copy. One of my favourite GnR songs and great baseline!
Well done Chris. Big fan of all the stuff you put on Insta and the podcast with Jonny. Great to see you on here, very natural and great overview of the bass 🤘😎
It is a Seattle SuperSonics basket ball team reference. Eleven players on the team with the 12th player being the fans. I think it is also interesting if you consider term sonic and it's definition. The sound of the cheering crowd's energizing the team.
I think so. There are a few different Jazz Bass Special models out there, but TBX seems to be a common feature of the ones that inspired Duff's signature models.
If I were to picture a guitar player and a bass player in my brain, you two look exactly like who I'd come up with
I’ll take that 😂 cheers for the comment!
The two of you together is a great format.
Cheers David!

Oh! That makes sense! Such a cool nod. Thanks for letting me know!
Yeah, Niners fan here. I fucking hate that detail on this bass and will get rid of that once I have this beauty in my hands.
Pretty sure it’s for the 12th fret…

Hahaha no way!
IMO, best cut on the album...

Love you two together!
Thanks! 🎉
What gear is he using , the tone is perfect.
Dagan's guitar tone is so good
Chris is really IN THE POCKET here 🔥
There’s a 50/50 chance I wrote this comment myself
Can you adjust the truss rod without taking off the neck?
Did Duff McKagan original Japanese Deluxe Precision Bass include a TBX control in his 80's bass?
I think so. There are a few different Jazz Bass Special models out there, but TBX seems to be a common feature of the ones that inspired Duff's signature models.
@@arrell That TBX tone max to 10 makes a big difference. Most fender bass models don't have a TBX so its very unusual to have that.
I absolutely LOVE that TBX control, I’m definitely putting one on one of my basses
Hunks
Oh you
My squier contemporary ph bass looks really similar and just under 500.
Your string choice is also going to affect tone.. Ernie ball vs Rotosound swingbass 66 and I think he played the Rotosounds
Great Demo, but the bass/guitar was out of tune during Slither cos one was Drop D and the other Drop C#
Come on Chris, you should of got a big 80s hair metal wig and winkle picker boots...😉
Bet I can do is a short back and sides 😂
❤ it
How tall is Chris? This bass looks so small in his hands. makes me wonder how tall dagan must be😂
Haha! I’m 5ft 10, Dagan is a VERY TALL man 😂
🤘🏼☠️💥❤️🔥🎸☠️🤘🏼
I got a duff Mckagan Signature. He spelt it Fudd Mclagging.
what ever, but what ever ahahahhaha but
Get that guitarist out of here 🤣 more Chris please
Can’t talk about Dagan like that! The guys a legend!
