God I love this movement! The opening is beyond sublime. I can feel my soul floating upward through time and space if but for a few seconds when I hear it.
Mozart - Recordare CUARTETO: Recordare, Iesu pie quod sum causa tuae viae, ne me perdas illa die. Quarens me, sedisti lassus, redemisti crucem passus; tantus labor non sit cassus. Iuste iudex ultionis, donum fac remissionis ante diem rationis. Ingemisco, tanquam reus, culpa rubet vultus meus; supplicanti parce, Deus.
Mozart - Recordare.
+Chelsea Lyons I didnt notice her being very sharp, though on some occasions she was definitely slightly on the fac benigne. It might be that since you are a mezzo, you hear things vibrating lower, so when someone vibrates opposite you, it seems sharp?
She is simply singing on the breath correctly, sometimes difficult to control (many great singers preferred to let the voice go to the high side of notes to retain the flow of the rebound, like Price or Lauri-Volpi), but her emission is so centered that nothing sounds out of tune. Marvellous singing.

1:45 I just love this man. I love him so much. :D
Bellissima sinfonia
Love it when Lenny starts dancing around 1:48
"Tantus labor non sit cassus": may so much labour not be useless.
Lenny shows to be doing a great toil and work, according to the words of the text.
The most sublime piece of music ever written. Mozart just had to die after he wrote it. Even he could never rise to such perfection again.
Das ganze Stück hat etwas beruhigendes
4:41 bellissimo
Hermoso! Bello! Obras maestras bellas.
Wunderbar
Ooooo so good!!!!
We can always rely on Bernstein to make us reflect on conducting norms.
This is just sublime music
Ineguagliabile Bernstein!
IMPRESIONANTE.

Written by a sick and dying man.
Always moves me this one.
I love Bernstein, but I think it’s too fast.
This is beautiful! However... Did anyone else notice that the soprano is very sharp? Somewhat annoying but still a wonderful interpretation.
