Liverpool, Dingle, L8 and city center 1980s & 1990s

  • Photos taken in the 80s and 90s around the Dingle, tenements in the South Hill road area and also other parts of L8 (so much character and atmosphere in the city then) . Also the Gyratory bus stop area which is the Queen square part of the city center.

    They make it look run down and scruffy but I tell u people back them were brilliant you knew your neibours everyone of them all over the area and it was smiles all round

    Belter vid this mate. I also love the one where Robbie Fowler comes back Park Road, people don't truly believe how much the area has changed!

      I am from the dingle I was born in 1992 so I vaguely remember some of it but it has changed a lot over the years. Lots of new houses have been built all the old flat have been took down
