Very Cool! The 710 is my favorite-sounding EMD prime mover. Was the black NS GP59 also running? This video was taken a couple months before I visited the Southeastern Railway Museum and got to go inside the 4610 and the 8202(SW7). Very cool-sounding horn on the Geeps, do you know what kind it is? 5 stars, Favorited! =D
not sure what kind of horn is used @ 5:40. I'm not sure if the GP59 is running, either. Regardless, I'm glad you liked the video. I tripped on Marta last Saturday and 4610 was parked @ Chamblee. I also saw it @ SRM. Peace.
nah....no traffic and the conductor is standing there to stop cars. it's a great area for horns bacuase you have 3 crossings wirhin a 100 yards of each other.
Nice to see video of the #4610, and cool southern SW7.
The 4610 looks just as good from when I saw it helping behind 611 on one of the last steam excursion trips in Oct. of 94
The green one's the lead unit. Way cool!
Fantastic

love them ubulkheads!!!:D
This crossing must be a quiet zone. At first, you only hear the bell.
The forgotten heritage unit
